Kindof like BadPrenup's Helm Toggle mod but more like.. working properly this one used to work but i think it broke when never versions of OBSE were released. And its hard to ask the author to update it since he doesn't seem very active either. Would make me and so many other people very happy, pretty please? ;D

Yes so i wanted to learn modding, and i'm one of those crazy workaholic people that when they plan to learn something they want to learn everything about it from every perspective. i don't wanna learn only the scripting, i want to learn modeling, texturing, everything. but to do things like these i've gotta get started somewhere right? So i wanted to ask modders from novices to experts what tools they are using. and what plugins for those tools, for example, i've looked around a lot and the closest thing i got to making textures in the .dds format was with a nvidia plugin for adobe photoshop. as for .nif (model) files and .kf (animation) files... i'm clueless. I am a bit surprised there wasn't a sticky thread like this here already. but thanks for your replies in advance, and i hope this topic will prove useful to more people than myself.

So there have been tons of mods where people make custom races, some beautiful and some ugly. most of the custom race mods i've downloaded have been pretty good, i love Xenius Race Compilation but i sometimes want to play a vanilla race. However those vanilla races are just so horribly disgustingly ugly (i mean bethesda even nicknamed the "randomize face" button into "the ugly button") that i can't bear with playing one of those unless i'll stick to a beast race or make some elder type guy with a long beard and stuff (no beards, oh snap) People are making so awesome custom race mods and they get better with each mod, why can't someone just replace the vanilla races so we can stick to being lore friendly and look good anyways? My first run through Morrowind was as a nord female, same with arena and daggerfall, same in oblivion, but i can't re-play oblivion as a non custom race cus they're so horrible (unless i take 3 hours to customize my face)
