So im in the creation kit, and i have found a place in tamriel that i like for my new village. When i hit 'H', im supposed to be able to edit the landcape with my brush, and i can, but only in certain places. Everywhere i try is definitely terrain, but the brush only shows up in certain areas. basically, i cant edit the terrain that want to, and i dont understand why. Any ideas?

hey again and thanks for the help. i got the fnv4gb from silverlock, but i havent had much luck. it still seems to be crashing very frequently.

Last time i tried using this, i couldnt get nvse to work with it, nor could i make the game use the enb preset i have in the games directory. Do you know how i would get enb to work with 4GBNV? Thanks

yh thanks for the post. that was the ini tweak i was on about with fallout 3. i have a quad-core cpu, and have already limited the game to use just one core. might this be the problem? should i change it from one core and allow it to use 2? i was also thinking to maybe install a smaller version of nmcs texture pack?

This game just refuses to play for me for 5 min without crashing. Fallout 3 was the same until i found an ini tweak, which fixed it completely. You could say i have too many mods installed, but frankly, my pc can run skyrim on higher settings, with more mods installed, and still get less crashes. Does anyone out there know of any way i can reduce crashes? omg really? that was the problem. thats a little odd though, since i chose hardcore at the start. oh well, thank you for your help. :P

Okay, so i just started a new game and have been playing for just over an hour, ive still got mods installed off of last playthrough, but i noticed that me hardcore needs simply dont increase. Even if i wait a whole 24 hours, my needs stay at zero. Do you know of any mods which may cause this issue?

i recently updated ap, but it think josh must have updated it again since then. ill try it out and let you know

i recently tried to use my unrelenting force shout with the 'Z' key. when i press it, my character says the first word of a shout then stops. in third person, no animation is played. so shouts dont work anymore, i thought. i unchecked every mod in my load order and launched the game; shouts worked. i then went through in groups of 5 mods at a time, unchecking them in my load order and loading up. after getting all the way to the top of the load order, no group was preventing shouts from working. i came to the conclusion that it must be a combination that is causing the problem or that they are conflicting with each other. it would take too long to check every combination so im asking the community: has anyone else had this problem? dos anyone know of a solution? does anyone know of mods which cause conflicts such as this? i dont know how to just get a list of all my mods in text format so unless someone can tell me how to, i cant tell anyone my load order, which, incidentally is over 100 mods. :P anyway, if anyone could help me out id be eternally grateful!

okay so, i was questing in the mine at raven rock, i just killed the priest thing at the end and opened the final gate. on a pedestal stood a 'Black Book' worth 2000 gold. me being me thought "oh, money, lets pick that up without saving first." What appeared to be a snake wrapped around my characters neck and jumped to a loading screen. in this loading screen my game crashed and i had to ctrl+alt+del to get to the desktop. i though oh well ill just have to kill the boss again so loaded up the game but when i try to load ANY save file i ctd. Why oh why does it always happen to me? anyways, im a little pissed off and dont really want to start a new game so: any suggestions? as always, help is MUCH appreciated. :S:S:S:S:S:S EDIT: Doesnt matter anymore. after leaving my game for a couple of hours everything works again. a little strange though

oh of course. :P i never thought of that. im currently using the dread knight sword and a B-D-Y-E-B shield. thats probably where my problems are coming from. i guess ill try vanilla items and let you know...
