Hi I recently rebuilt my mod collection for Fallout 4 by deleting all my old files, in doing so I found that "PILGRIM: Dread the Commonwealth" has now been set to hidden by the author. I have the ENB, but I really liked the ambience and combat music from PILGRIM. I've tried looking around, but nothing has really come close. I've reached out to the modder to ask if I may have the audio files. But I highly doubt i'll get a response. Does anyone have any bleak/horror style of ambience and music for F4 that they could recommend? I'm heavy interested in STALKER as well as Metro for influences. Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the delayed reply. My F4SE decided to crash my game no matter what I did. forcing me to do a full and fresh install with 137 mods. I tried the program you recommended and i tried to open the file, but i just got nothing. I've never used xEdit before either, so no backup there It sucks. But after 3 days im almost done and satisfied with my first cell of 16. Now is a good time to start fresh and not make the same mistakes I did before, I guess.

Hi Short story (relevant); I attempted to install a mod that needed F4SE a few hours ago, upon using it my game crashed to desktop (CTD) after a long loadscreen. I saw this as a good time to do a fresh install of F4SE with the newest version (0.06.13), after about an hour of reinstalling the base game to make sure everything was clean I installed the newest F4SE using the normal steps. Before I installed F4SE I ran F4 through the normal means with zero mods. No issues. However, upon starting Fallout 4 using F4SE, either by shortcut or launcher, I get a long black loadscreen followed by a CTD. I have zero mods right now, so i'm 100% convinced it's F4SE. I am using NMM 0.65.2. I have: Done a clean install (as seen above) Run F4 and F4SE as an admin Run F4SE with no mods OR plugins apart from the DLC. I'm out of ideas at this point, I've never had this issue before Thanks in advance!

The last thing I did was finish a navmesh. Nothing too surprising - just a flat room. I saved the progress I had made and CK closed on me. Big deal. it's happened before. I re-opened the Ck and my .esp wasn't on the list. I looked at my NMM and it was there, but the file was corrupted. I made a new .esp file in an attempt to save some of the npcs/progress I have made. But because I couldn't select the file, I couldn't save anything. But the esp wasn't even there anymore. It's like it self destructed. Anyway, while I was having my emo moment I thought of a new idea; Pipes filled with acid. I figured out how to make water poison you on contact rather than/as well as irradiate you. I totally agree with your hindsight comment. I should've backed up. But I was under the impression CK was more stable. How do you recommend backing up? USB stick?

Well, since the first iteration of this mod will never see the light of day I may as well show off some of the screenshots I was using as a reference between edits. I may revisit this and piece it back together but now I just want to go and lie town for a few hours. Well thanks for the feedback everyone. But my plugin is now corrupt and I cant recover it. That's about 3 months of work gone in a second. I may as well start again. But honestly I don't think I have the will to carry on after losing that much progress with no hope of recovering it. So until further notice. This project is cancelled.

Hi I'm having issues with an horizontal lift platform moving too quickly (attached image related) I followed this guide below to the letter; However, even at a travel time of 20 seconds the lift still makes the journey in about 4-5 seconds. I'm not sure how to get it to slow down or move at the speed it's supposed to. Am I missing something really obvious? I can provide additional screenshots if needed Thanks in advance

Hi I'm having issues getting an NPC to wear a static item as a piece of armour. I've added the static item to all the relevant lists it should be on but I cant get the NPC to wear it. The closest i've come is the NPC will spawn into the world in the render window but their item will be at their feet Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to go about this? Thanks in advance!

Hello I'm trying to make an NPC wear a static item on their body but i'm having issues with it. I've tried adding it to the AA list, as well as replacing it over similar wearable headwear but the best i've done so far is spawning the item in with the NPC but it is at their feet rather than wearing it. Do I need another program in order to make this happen? Or is it just beyond the realms of the F4 creation kit? Thanks in advance

I haven't heard of that mod or played it but i'm tempted to try and get F:NV working again just to try it. I'm implementing long and short routes. The first time you play through an area you need to unlock doors, explore, etc. However once you unlock those doors you can just run through the area to the next one. I've deliberatly taken enemy spawning out of these short routes so players can get around without always having to keep fighting the same enemies every 7 in game days. Does this sound appealing?

You make a good point here. I did some research on interior adding mods and I've picked a few locations out for entrances/exits. Most, however, are in really off-location areas such as under bridges or added in a basement hatches behind houses. I prefer the low key lovecraft style. I'm a fan of two principles when it comes to lore: Chekov's gun and suggestive writing. I also prefer it when people connect the dots rather than being told what is happening directly.

I was thinking of something like that, but I wanted it to overall be a more sandbox and less hand-held experience. I'm one of these weirdos that thinks having floating markers degrades the value of the quests in the game. On a side note, I am working on bounties, treasure hunts and other things like that for people who like to explore and solve puzzles. It may not be everyone's thing. but it will be 100% optional. Current kits I have used: Caves Utility tunnels Steam tunnels Subway tunnels (and car tunnels) Parking garages Federalist (most set pieces, not the full kit) Industry (pipes mostly) Hi-tech (Hit) Most areas change settings a few times, so there will be a diverse environment for players to explore. Some of these areas may require some puzzling to unlock though, but players will get rewarded with items or one of the unique weapons I am working on.
