  2. Hey Guys I have just created and tried to create a tutorial on how to install Dual Sheath Redux and make it work with Mod Organizer.. you can find it here:

    http://youtu.be/i_O4GwYEbqY?list=UU2Om1qbsdmPknkWAH_KNu8w

This is my very first time posting a tutorial video or making one so hope you guys get some help with this mod issues which I know I was struggling with this mod for a while and now since it took me about 2 days to work this mod and get it working properly, I thought I'd save you all the trouble of figuring out this mod. PLEASE like the video guys it'll help thank you!

  3. Pay attention, this one refers to this part of DracoApis's guide: "now in the Skyrim folder go to Data/SkyProc Patchers inside is a folder called Dual Sheath Redux inside that use the Dual Sheath Redux Patch executable jar file WITH JAVA, if .jar is not already associated just right-click,properties, opens with . . ., change and select Java,

(if you don't see it in this new window click browse and search for Java)".

    After that, follow his steps.

    Good luck!

My Problem with this is that even though I I do all these steps, Java won't open this file at ALL! I have to go into the console command and type this:

    CD /d C:\Program Files (x86)\The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim\Data\SkyProc Patchers\Dual Sheath Redux Patch

(This is where the Dual Sheath Redux Patch.jar is located at so replace the text after "/d" to wherever it's located at)

    Then this:

java -jar "Dual Sheath Redux Patch.jar"

    Btw I'm running Windows 8.1

    and I'm using an

    ASUS ROG G750JW

  4.

Fixing the (files\tmp.esp (The system cannot find the path specified) Dual Sheath Redux Patcher error:

I managed to fix it by using the command prompt. It's a permissions issues that cannot be bypassed right-click run as admin, since for whatever reason windows won't allow you to do that with .jar files and they seem to be unaffected by editing folder permissions.

    Step-by-step:

    1. Open command prompt as administrator (right-click, run as administrator).

    2. Type this into the command prompt exactly:

    CD /d C:\*86*\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\SkyProc Patchers\Dual Sheath Redux Patch
    3. That should have changed your current command prompt directory to the .jar file's directory. Now simply type:
java -jar "Dual Sheath Redux Patch.jar"
    4. Press enter and you should get the usual Dual Sheath Redux Patcher opening up and things will proceed as normal.

If for some reason the patcher doesn't finish properly and you get the same access denied error, be sure to double check that you opened the command prompt as administrator and have permissions to do so.

IT WORKED!!! DUDE I DON'T KNOW HOW TO THANK YOU ENOUGH!! I WOULD SO SUCK YOUR D#$K!! no homo... Jokes aside this really did help I was about to give up hope on this mod

  5. The patch installed fine but my left handed weapon still doesn't appear sheathed with modded weapons.

I am having the SAME problem everything seemed to have gone fine no errors or that Not Detected thing when I play Skyrim . BUT when I sheathe my weapon it doesn't show it... Why is is this mod so difficult?.. Why can't you just simply install it VIA Nexus Mod and that's it like regular mods.... and furthermore help me with this someone!!!

I am running Nexus Mod, Winrar, and Windows 8.1

and side note I'm not sure what "Java" you're all talking about.. I'm over here thinking "javaw", "javaws" and "java" not sure which one you're all talking about.
