I know that one exists all ready but I never liked the look of it. A nice detailed version would be great. There was talk on this forum about porting over a model from an Oblivion mod but nobody got permission.

I thought this would suit New Vegas pretty well.

I'm sure I saw a mod at some point where you could loot world objects like logs, tree stumps, etc, for fnv. I've looked here on nexus but can't seem to find it now.

I've seen a few small mods that cater to airborne and US army etc, but I haven't really noticed any love for marines in the pacific theatre. I think if anything the camoflage helmet cover would make my day but I can't find it (don't know if it was released publicly). This image is from the vietnam marines mod originally for Fallout 3 and has been ported to FNV but the modder didn't release v 3.0 which would have had this helmet cover for the M1. The top half of the vietnam armor from TG's armor collection would be good, but I thought that it needs the gaiters from this mod. This armor from eric3844 is closest but wrong colours.
