  1. That's my guess since the old site isn't working, but it worked fine this morning, server hiccup?
  2. Same, can't download via nmm, and the old layout site for Fallout isn't even working for me.
  3. I've never once had Fallout 4 crash on me. And Skyrim's only ever crashed while running a few select mods (oddly enough, the Unofficial patches are included in that list). So it's never been an issue for me, and i don't really expect it to become one now. As for graphics, i personally don't know what people are griping about. Bethesda's graphics have always been decent, but not stellar, and personally i don't have a problem with that. If i wanted a game with cutting edge graphics, i'd play some shallow pile of junk made in Cryengine. Fallout 4 does ctd a ot less then Skyrim on my PC. However, I've had numerous infinite loading glitches, especially around the area of Bunker Hill, I've also had a nasty instance were the game froze up my computer and I had to do a 5 minute shutdown and reboot. Though that last one could be a Windows 10 thing. As for graphics, faces look better, though bodies look ugly and are a backslide from the ones in Skyrim, ugly bodies are par for the course for Bethesda, though, and there are mods for that. The landscape does look gorgeous....usually. I say usually because my problem isn't with the graphics but how the game's engine handles them....badly. First there's only two options for anti-aliasing and neither of them are particularly good. There have been reports that playing around with texture quality in the options menu has very little impact to texture quality in the game. Oh and speaking of texture quality in the game....hd texture loading times, that is to say they often fail to load in like they're suppose to, giving blurry/muddy looking textures on everything from the player character, to the landscape. I've heard this was a problem with AMD, but it happens on a wide range of Nvidia cards too, including my GTX 750, which the game fails to recognize though I can still run higher res graphics through it, when they look higher res that is. Finally lighting looks great in environments, that is when the lighting works like it suppose to. The graphics might be a step up from Skyrim (except those character bodies) but I've never had the graphical issues in Skyrim that I've had with Fallout 4, the only graphic issues I've had are the occasional wonky skin textures that happen with some texture mods, but that goes away after reloading a save.
  4. It's Bethesda though, odds are the new version will still crash, and likely have problems with graphics if Fallout 4 is any indication.
  5. Well you can always change your vote, I've set up the poll so people can change their minds.
  6. I saw some remastered threads but nothing that just comes out and asks this question. And I thought it be nice to have a poll so that modders can see what their users are planning to do. So will you be making the switch? Myself, I plan to stick with what I got, don't want to start over, it runs ok now for the most part, and I'm not sure my system can handle a brand spanking new version anyway. It can't do DOOM as it is.
  7. Well hopefully he comes back. Fair enough, but lets not lump all console mod players in with the lot that decided to be rude. That's just pouring water on a grease fire.
  8. Hmmm, where did you find that? I do recall asking if he had plans to bring the Rebel to bethesda.net, because I had some friends on console that would love it. But that was before he had posted any stickies about it. Shame, now they'll never get to see it. :( However, I don't think it's fair laying the blame soully on console modders, his last line is particularly telling.
  9. Provided that the Rebel mod doesn't end up getting borked in Bethesda's next patch update, or become incompatible to future mod updates like CBBE. Hopefully those things won't happen but you never know. In any case might be a good idea to back this mod up on a flash drive. Well, this is sad news, as the Rebel was my favorite Fallout 4 mod by far. So does have a link or statement from him about what happened? Or if he plans to continue modding or where? All I'm seeing right now is speculation and infighting, which doesn't help anyone.
  10. Yeah, that's about the gist of it, thanks. Sorry, I admit, grammar was never my strong suit. But, I'm a nice guy, honest..... Please don't start correcting my messages...or my emails. :ermm: *Weird Al Shot*
  11. Yeah, sounds like a good plan. Had another quick question, now that I think about it. Does if having a weapon added to the level list means being able to find legendary versions of said weapon? Cause as cool as the Scar looks, it's a little hard to justify using it over the wounding combat rifle, the Spray and Pray, or any of the other legendary weapons my char already has.
  12. So about the future DLC, such as the one coming out next week.... Is it possible these DLC will effect leveled lists? I know in Skyrim Dawnguard added things like Vampire armor to vampires in the main game. I'm wondering how that will effect modded leveled lists, the reason I ask is I have my eyes on several level list gun mods and might like to add one (since more would cause a conflict) Such as Doom's Scar LK or, to keep with the Fallout theme, Z06Frank's HK G3, but I'm hesitant to do so with the DLC on its way.
  13. Hmmm, now that you guys have mentioned it, its possible the alerts piggy backed from a site hosting the pics for me too. I was looking for some elven armors for Sevenbase around the net and several used the Skyrim Sexy Vanilla armor for unp and sevenbase as a base requirment for their mods. And I think both alerts might have come from that page, here's the link to the mod page in question. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34160/? Again, it doesn't happen everytime I go to the page, so it could have been some random malicious code from the pic site in question. In addition Avast flagged wyre bash as suspected evo-gen, but I believe that's a false positive. What kind of ads are you guys using btw? I want to support the site, but I'm also worried about screwing up my computer, it's brand new.
  14. Ok I've noticed over this last month and the end of January I've been getting a couple of Avast blocking Alerts while surfing this site, again not downloading anything just surfing the skyrim mods section. It's only happened a couple of times so far with today being the most recent. This was my last popup as of today. I suspect a malicious ad, which is apparently getting through my adblocker (And blocking this stuff is the only reason I use Adblocker to begin with). Though It could be a false alarm. So yeah, not sure what is up with that, hasn't happened on any other site that I've surfed so far. Anybody else had this happen?
