I installed a bunch of mods through vortex and one manually because it didn't have a Vortex install option. The manual one (Better planet generation) I copied into the PCBANKS/MODS folder, all the others landed in a separate folder that Vortex created named e:\vortex-mods When I tried to set the game folder as the install folder for mods, Vortex said "The folder must be empty". One of the Vortex installed mods is stack size increase and that clearly doesn't work, the stacks are still limited to 100 instead of the 250 in the mod. When I try setting the Binaries folder as the target (since the exe is in there), I get the error message "You can not put mods into the game directory. This directory is under the control of the game (and potentially Steam or similar) so your mods might be deleted or moved or otherwise damaged by foreign software. Please choose a separate folder for staging folder, one that no other application uses." Same message comes when I try to Gamedata folder or the pcbanks or the mods folder. The mods are all in the staging folder and the disablemods.txt is also deleted

Actually yes. After the first attempt, I shut off my computer to go to work and tried again after a reboot once I was back home. The five instances of the game executable was after I tried it, failed, validated, reinstalled mod, and tried again that second time.

Hello, played the game yesterday without problems. today, wanted to continue but when I click on the Enemy Within symbol in the launcher, the launcher crashes. Then I have three XcomEW.exe in my task manager, two of which can't be shut down. I tried doing a validation (getting 31 files to be downloaded new) and reinstalled the mod. Same effect, game wouldn't start, launcher crashed but now I have five XcomEW.exe in my task manager, of which 4 won't shut down, no matter how often I try. Any suggestions?

I just found the arrow button on the side that scrolls to the new slot. Ah, to be smart for once before crying for help :D

How does the Squad Size from the Officer Training School work? I bought Squad Size I and I thought I would from now on have 7 squad members per mission but it's still 6. Is there something else I have to do first? Regards

Hello, I'm currently trying to install the Epic Overhaul Mod, which is quite a pain in the ass. I deleted the game via steam and then the Skyrim folder from my HDD, before making a clear re-install (I own the legendary edition, so Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn gets automatically installed with it.) Especially the 619 items in Dawnguard, considering it's a fresh install (I didn't even properly started the game yet, only went to the loading screen once to auto-detect my settings) Also, in the installation description (I won't call it a guide) of EOM, it says to let BOSS sort out the load order. How is that done? Or do I have to manually sort all the esm in the order that boss shows them to me in the log? Regards.

Did you by any chance increase the likelihood of a soldier panicking? I played a vanilla play and a soldier panicked from time to time. But after the mod installation, I had several cases, where a soldier panicked after a squadmate was only hit (he wasn't even gravely injured, just a regular hit) and the panicking soldier was a Lieutenant no less.

Hello, I don't know if that is the correct forum, if not I apologize. In the FAQ of the Mod it says that a it doesn't work with a modified exe file. I use the Windows XP Workaround which modifies the exe file only slightly (two letters are changed). Will I be able to play the mod? Regards
