Yes, they actually cook a 15-pound (6.8 kg) burger at Hillbilly Hotdogs in Huntingdon, West Virginia.
10 pounds of meat, a 5-pound bun, with American cheese, tomatoes, onions, pickles, ketchup, mustard and mayo.

Nice, but it will take a little getting used to.

The floating bug happens on the PC too.
Wow, I haven't seen that one yet. I appreciate the tip.:)

Wynne from the circle tower
Many thanks.
To be honest, I always fight her, as I always open up "Spirit Healer" for either Morrigan or my own mage if I'm running one, so I never really needed Wynne. :wallbash:
Edit: Not to mention that I don't care much for the fact that she is literally forced upon your party, and you can't replace her, which cuts off your other members from experience points.

Ok, I'm at a loss here - here's my party list:
Alastair
Mabari War Dog
Morrigan
Leliana
Sten
Oghren
Zevran
Shale
Loghain (at Level 21, Alastair leaves).
The achievement is still dark, so who am I missing? Thanks for the help. :thanks:

These are pre-ordered, but I already know I'll be having a blast playing both of these: Dragon Age and also Borderlands.
-
1, Baldur's gate 1 and 2
2, Fallout 2
3, Morrowind
4, N.W 2
5, FF7
Nice list. Some classics there.

Yeah, they didn't give a reason, but the PC Version release is now 10-26 in North America.
Consoles are still 10-20.
I see the 2-person split-screen and the 4-person co-op as a viable and manageable alternative to MMO.
-
I'll have to add Devil May Cry 4 to this list.
It's not a bad game at all, considering you have swords, firearms, plus a demon arm with special powers.
Best of all is the developers optimized it for 64-bit and DX 10.

This made me laugh.

What part of "Role-Playing Game" don't these detractors understand? :P
They fail to see the positive roles in these games like we do. My Oblivion was modded to where you actually received more rewards for role-playing as a good rather than evil character.

My vote is no. It's the same sad story, Congress always acts like two brothers who are sibling rivals. :P

ok let me clear this one up if you have a saved game from ME1 and you killed Wrex , hes dead and there is no way to get him back , if you dont have ME1 saved game whos knows what chars you are going to get , come one who used Wrex he was pointless the other chars where better....... i only saved him because i`m a good guy lol also with the last boss i talked him around and he shot himself in the head :D
Take a look at the article I'm linking here about ME1 saved games for ME2. There might be some clickable links within the article as well.
Here is a must-read about ME 1 saves for ME 2, entitled "Mass Effect 2 importing 'hundreds' of Mass Effect decisions".

I just found out that Tim Curry (Pennywise the Clown - Stephen King's "It") and Kate Mulgrew (Star Trek: Voyager) will be doing voiceover work for parts of the game.
-
I'm pretty sure that's the DLC for Mass Effect 1 that's coming out soon. 'Fraid we don't know if Wrex is going to be in ME2 or not yet. :(
I doubt that Gamespot would've posted the screens under the ME2 section if that was the case.
You are correct. GameSpot has been interviewing Bioware since Day 1 of their announcement of ME2, and those screenshots are of ME2.:)
-
A lot of folks looking forward to Mass Effect 2 were of the thought that a new Krogan in the game was taking Wrex's place, even if you had him in your ME 1 saved game.
Well, I just now received notice of a new update to ME 2: New screenshots.
These are good, and you'll see Wrex. (saving Wrex is kudos-worthy, btw) :P

Pinnacle Station is the name of this DLC, and Microsoft is  about the entire matter.
Particulars are in this article. Link

What does this matter? There's no advantage to playing it on the PC. I would rather play it on 360.
The PC version enjoys higher resolutions. I also prefer the PC's control scheme for playing games such as Mass Effect.
Anyway, this is good news.
I first ran ME on a XP-based PC with DX 9.0c. I bought a new PC with Vista 64-bit and DX 10.0 plus a Quad-Core CPU with a 9-Series nVidia GPU.
ME now has no framerate problems, no texture problems, much shorter elevator rides. And not only that, you can do a running battle in melee combat on the PC without ever pausing, while the 360 has to pause (no hotkeys for abilities).
-
Great News! This time around there will be no delay between the 360 and PC versions (as there was with the original).:)

Bring down the sky was just another completely bland generic planet, you could barely tell the difference between it and any of the other many many similar sidequests... all of which were terribly boring.
But, so long as the DLC also fixes the game so it will work without me having to revert to 2 year old graphics drivers (it wont start with anything newer, weirdly) just to be able to play the damn thing, I'll gladly get it.
Interesting that you mention graphics drivers. Originally I was running Mass Effect under XP SP3. The animation bogged down in certain locations (Normandy's elevator to the Med Section).
Now I'm running it under Vista, and I'm using the latest 64-bit drivers. The game looks slightly better with DX 10 and there is no framerate nor animation lagging.
Edit: I have also noticed that the game does not interrupt with as many "Loading" messages as it used to, and the loads inside elevators are quicker.
Yeah, it seems to be a thing with most of Bioware's games actually. I tried to play KotoR again today, and it didnt work. After much looking round the tech support forums, I discovered that I need to downgrade to older graphics drivers for it to work :P Its really rather irritating.
Although, on the plus side, it seems the latest nvidia drivers (186.16) fix Mass Effect... at least, it starts, and I can play it. But it crashes constantly, I've often had BSODs related to nv4disp.dll, or Windows popups warning me that my graphics drivers have stopped responding. But most often, it just freezes.
Bioware clearly don't have a big enough QA team.
I have zero problem with nVidia driver 186.18 , but that is the 64-bit Vista driver. I have - believe it or not - zero problems running Mass Effect. Not even a single CTD. You must be using a different OS than mine, since your version number is different.
The game runs just fine, right out of the \Program Files (x86) folder.
I did go to Windows Update and ensured I had all of the fixes installed (even the non-critical ones).

This was great news, but they still need to release that promised patch. Link

One of the worst things that can happen to a gamer: In the dead of night, water from my air conditioner poured out onto the attic floor, soaking the ceiling. You can guess the next part: the part that fell destroyed my PC.
Trying to recover everything is a bear. Does anyone have a good URL for the Bethesda Forum? Google doesn't list it for some reason, and I need to get in touch with a couple of members over there. Thanks.

Wow. Just wow. Not even two days since this news article was posted, and already 2,369 members have commented about it.
By the way, Activision does not mean the cost of the machine, but what they make per game on the PS3 & PSP versus other platforms. Link

I have to add Prototype to my list of great games.
Dragon Age vs. Mass Effect 2

I have DA:O and both Mass Effect games.
I happen to like both, but DA:O has more character interaction.
I think they should have removed the Level Cap in the Main Game, once BioWare released the Awakening Expansion.
They still haven't made a patch for the Silverite Mine Bug.
I almost died when Patch 1.04 failed a file-write. I wound up having to uninstall and reinstall to fix it.
It pays to watch your machine while downloading, installing, and patching.
