  1. Hello again ppl, this is your favourite requester, me =D Today I did something weird, I was looking for info about it but cannot find, hence, I'm asking for help here. The issue at hand today is that I was copying and pasting objects in a custom map in the Render Window, and in one of the copy+paste, I hitted the crtl+b keys, that made a green square appear in midair, I did ctrl+z to undone it, but it undone the previous change, so it didn't work; then, I hitted again ctrl+b to see if that coul undone it and didn't, it only made the square bigger :wallbash: Since then; I get to see from time to time water in places there shouldn't be, and not only that, since I didn't configure the water yet, it has no texture, in a couple of hours when I get home I'll post some screens, but my biggest interest now is what the heck does ctrl+b does, and how can I undone it. From time to time I get a pink wall that disappears when I cross it, I'm guessing that's more untextured water, but I cannot be sure, anyways, if you ppl can help me, you have my gratitude. =)

Actually the fixed ini solved half of my problems, it seems a line was missing, since then, the DLC started to load, and I could fix the mods load, though I had to realize that the problems with mods loading were elsewhere. Now, the mods started to load recently, the problem was rather embarrassing, a friend came and installed a Japanese game, and to make it run, it changed the language of my windows to Japanese, well, I didn't mind it because I could use the computer the same as always, but it seems that the most notorious change was that it replaced the "\ " for the Yen symbol; and when it comes to windows it seems it works ok, but when it comes to search the mods route, it created another conflict, hence, it couldn't load any mod, I feel like an idiot for not realizing it sooner :wallbash: I tried to install the 1.5 but with the 1.6 as current it won't let me, will it be enough if I have the fake patch deleted?

So was I C: Yep, like I said, since the last time it worked properly, nothing has been changed, the archive invalidation is on and kicking When the 1.5 was available, I couldn't hit anything in VATS no matter which weapon I was using, a friend told me to downgrade to 1.4 again and use that .esp to fix the problem, it fixed it and never touched it again, though I put the 1.6 over it now that you mention it... Haven't tested it since then, I didn't know I only used the fakepatch to fix the VATS, since a friend told me that using it fixed it, I didn't get Broken Steel until recently, though, I got it before the 1.6 Patch I didn't know about the Master Update, I have everything clean until the version 1.4, the use the Fake Patch to get the changes that the 1.5 was supposed to give, and the 1.6 clean, I installed the 1.6 when Point Lookout came out, so I discarded any possibility of patching the 1.6 over the 1.4 and skipping 1.5 since the game worked properly for a time, but it's not like I have anything better to point out... The worst of luck, I can't find my copy of Fallout 3, so until I find it, Re-installing is not a possibility, what pisses me off the most is that I'm making a mod, and Cannot test it under this circumstances, anyways, thanks again for your time, I also got a word from a friend about the Geck ini, because the problem could be there, so I need the ini from someone else who doesn't have the same problem, but none of my friends are available at the moment, so then again, I'm crippled :whistling: Cheers lad.
  4. Not a single mod sounds better, lad? Anyways, I found that the Load order has little to nothing to do with this problem, as I reduced to only the four DLC and the GTS and it's the same, it seems the only one loading it's still the Fallout3.esm only =/ The current load list is the following; also I didn't put those that are unmarked: [X] Fallout3.esm [X] Anchorage.esm [X] ThePitt.esm [X] BrokenSteel.esm [X] PointLookout.esm [X] FakePatch_v1.5.0.22.ESM [X] Globaltravelsystem.esm [X] GTSEssentials.esm With that list, none of them except the Fallout3.esm seems to be loading, I do use FOMM (my apologies for not saying it before) I hardly think it's a new mod of the one unmarked now, considering that I haven't installed a single one since the last time I recall playing properly, so I hardly think it's anyone of those that have been working properly until now. If worst comes to worst, I'll reinstall it tomorrow, I know the saves aren't the cause of it, because I only use saves made by myself. I currently have FO3 installed on D: since I came into many unexpected loss of data to use C: to install only XP in there. So I will make a backup of the Data folder (or the files regarding to mods) and reinstall everything anew. Sorry for my untidy English, since it's not my native language, I tend to make quite a few mistakes, so I'm sure it isn't something nice to the eyes of English speaking people, you have my most sincere apologies, and gratitude for your time. An acquaintance of mine told me he has the 1.4 with all the DLC working properly, so I want to downgrade/reinstall to that version to see if the problem could be fixed that way, though I don't recall having any issue with 1.6 before. A little edit: I found a save before starting the Anchorage simulation, but once you load it, it will get you to the entrance of Vault 101, I told you in case that information could have any significance.

Hi everyone, as the subject says, no mod has been loading lately, I experience no game crash, nor broken characters, the games is entirely clean, which is rather surprising, so I don't know what to do. My first thought was to make a downgrade to 1.4 and use a the v1 of FOSE that's not Beta, but I have little to no clue how to make a downgrade from 1.6, and don't even know if it'll work, so if anyone can help, I will be grateful. If it's not needed and there is a better solution, I would be grateful to know, but in any case, thanks for your time =) I've been searching and see that many people had issues that make them want to downgrade, but I haven't seen anyone that experienced no mods loading at all, so I thought making a new th with my issue wouldn't be redundant...

Hello again, I know I'm bugging you a lot with my requests, but I hope that your help can really pay off to the community later =); well, this time I got a few questions, allow me to begin: 1- Loadscreens: I've been looking through all the DLC without success, a way to make specific loadscreens to appear whenever you are in a specific place (ie: Point Lookout showing those postcards) Does anyone have any idea how to make it? 2- I'm planning to make a new quest for a new map I'm doing, but I want to test it in the Capital wasteland first, to make sure it works, the quest itself will be tedious because it will probably require tons of scripting. The quest itself will be about a malfunction in the pipboy GPS that will prevent you from seeing the world map and also, fast travelling. I'm not asking that you do that quest for me, but I'm interested in learning a way to change the properties of a world space in game, like disabling fast travel and chaging the texture of the world map. I'll apreciate any feedback regarding these matters people, later.
  7. Thank you, as for the sidewalks, that's pretty much what I have been doing, but leaving sand in the empty places doesn't seems alright to me. As for the landscape, you say that I do that while using the landscape editor? I don't mind the big square, I was to put asphalt pretty much everywhere xD Thanks again for the insight, I really needed it.

Hello people, I'm making a new map to explore, and it will be heavily urban based, though, I'm having a hard time with the sidewalks, so far, I've been putting them one by one, and it's become quite tedious after a couple of hours, specially when you see how much left to do =_= then when I entered the Landscape editor, I see that there are different settings for the landscape, so, using an asphalt tile will make everything easier to me, and I was wondering for those who got more experience in mapping could help me a little, by telling me if it's possible to change the default landscape from sand to asphalt, and if it is, then how.
