  1. Do you use an ENB? if so take a look at your enblocal.ini usually people say VideoMemorySizeMb= VRAM + RAM but for me this forced the game to load low quality textures. Open your Task-Manager open the performance tab and take a look under GPU there you'll find something like "shared GPU memory" use this value instead. It's hard to tell by the dark screenshot but it seems you got the same issue I had.
  2. Hello everyone I just encountered a strange problem. I updated my game from 1.10.120 to 1.10.130 and all f4se mods to the newest version and as expected got a CTD after game start  However after some testing I found out that some mods that have BA2 files attached make the game crash. The culprits are completly unrelated for example "Scrap Everything", "Wasteland Ventures", "Valerian Armor" or "Unicorn Farts and Godrays". The only thing these mods have in common are BA2 files. So I extracted the BA2s of the mods that were causing the game to crash and it worked. Anyway I still got a lot of mods with BA2 files that cause no issues. File corruption shouldn't be the problem because i tried redownloading them first. Does anyone have expierienced the same? Am I missing some stupid .ini setting or something? I just don't get it.
  3. Thanks for all the advice I'll give it a try soon i just struggle hard to use the weight brush evenly.
  4. i tried to port https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64313 I tried to copy weighting from existing clothing but it never works well. The folds and wrinkles make things really complicated. Does anyone have a word of advice?
  5. Hello everyone I have a huge problem. I messed around with my .ini file and as stupid as i am i didn't create a backup. So I deleted it and started the game so skyrim created a new one. Back in the game the loading screen images appear a bit pink and i cant load existing save games. When i started the Nexus mod manager all my .esp are disabled. But with so many mods installed its hard to remember which one was disabled and which one not. Starting a new game works fine so I guess the problem is .esp or .esm related. My question is: is it possible to see which mods were enabled in a save game like it was possible for example in Fallout Mod Manager? Thanks a lot in advance!!
  6. After I played Morrowing i realized that there are mods for the gamebryo engine that enhance the game a lot. When I played Oblivion, i discovered the Nexus and coudn't believe anyone want to play the game without any mods. During Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas I learned a lot about modding myself. And I swear I will create mods myself for Skyrim. I think the Creation Engine will not be that different from the gamebryo engine since it is based on it. Anyway I know a few guys who will just buy a new computer when skyrim is released. So AMD, Nvidia & Intel have to thank Bethesda a lot for creating that game!
  7. If you have the latest Motioninjoy drivers and utility, you can set the computer to recognize your Dualshock as an Xbox 360 controller, then you should be able to play Skyrim like that perfectly. You just made a friend of mine very happy
  8. It is possible to connect your ps3 controller via bluetooth or USB but it will appear as a standart gamecontroller and you have to configure buttons by yourself. The Xbox controller has the advantage, that the buttons are pre defined just like on the XBox and the UI will show which button you need to press just like on the Xbox. I bought a controller myself even if i doesnt got a xbox just because its very comfortable to use. I just played Warhammer 40k space marines, deus ex, operation flashpoint 2, Fallout and many other Games with it. The Controller has really paid off.
