Imo you should always play a game unmodded first, to see what the original game is like. But, I think you would like mods like Ihud etc, that take away the hud for a more immersive experience. Also check out moreHUD, this makes it so when you hover over items, details about said items pop up in the corner, so you don't have to pick them up then look if they're worth carrying etc, oh and it tells you your carry weight and how heavy the item is before you pick it up. Adding mods like that, that don't change much are best on a first playthrough if you ask me.

Hey, I'm having an issue where, when I turn into Vampire Lord form people don't attack me. Now, town guards as far as I've tested still attack me but it seems to be out in the open areas where people don't (Not including bandits, and other enemies that attack you on sight anyway). That then got me to think that it was Immersive patrols, but I tried uninstalling it, and same problem. Also, it can't be that as the Thalmor (near the boat to the vamp castle) just ignore me, I can even talk to them. What I also found funny is I saw some Dawnguard people walking down a path while I was in VL form and I could talk to them and they were like "Oh. hello there" haha. Anyway, this leads me to think that it might be better vampires, but I'm not sure how to fix it (I've tried looking at all the FAQ page / troubleshooting) I even tried "Resetting Vampire lord" as the mod author said to another person with the same problem. I also want to note that I started this playthrough with better vampires installed from the beginning, and even infected myself with better vampires in the MCM, so I don't think I did anything wrong there. I even tried uninstalling Enhanced enemy AI - Revenge of the Enemies with the same results. Anyway, hope someone has found this issue and fixed it so you can share on what the problem might be. Hey, I was wondering if someone could make a mod that changed ONLY the players fire spells to green? I am leveling a warlock :tongue: You could also add other colours too if you want. I'm not sure if making all fire type spells a different colour for player only is possible, but I thought I might as well ask :smile: thank you.
