Sadly not all games can be as mod friendly like Skyrim, Fallout and Minecraft, especialy Minecraft. However I have checked all my mods and I have found 3 mods which actually have not yet been updated and crash the game, if you have them installed and might not need them you can cut them out and continue playing: Dockland Speed whole Island Old-Town Spice it Up (Harborlife Module) The Fallowing mods which crash my game have allready been updated, if you are not using them, you should try, they are amazing: Industrialized low tier Production Jakob's Mod Collection Hope it helps! It's a Ubisoft game, we should be happy we are allowed to run mods at all without having to use software which trips of anti virus software, and yes I'm looking at you Anno 2070..... Yesn't, many are going to be updated at some point, some allready are, some will never be updated, as all mods are a labour of love some might get divorecd and will allways stay unplayable. If I recall correctly, no, you can however disconnect your internet connection or run Ubisoft launcher offline starting at the day of an annaunced updated, this should work at least for a while. Trust me Ubisoft is going to do their damnest to get you to sell your kidney for more DLC, and how are going to do that if you don't update your game???? What you can do is, check each mod one by one if it works, move the once which don't into a seperat folder and check back every once in a while and see if they have been updated, slowly readding them and when your loadorder has been restored you can continue your old save. Till then, why not start another game of Anno 1800 which can be bricked by the next update or start a new game of Skyrim Super Duper Special Edition, or maybe try some small indie game. ^^ But you'r definantly not alone, I'm here sitting next to you, with 1M inhabitants and plans on what I want to do next but that will have to wait. Currently installing Skyrim Mods xD. I whish less updates would break mods but when they do they at least give you the option to play some other games! Maybe even something which isn't deveoloped by allways online UbisoftTM. Kind regardes!

Hello! I'm looking for your favorite smaller Mods! (lesser known, fewer downloads/ endorsements) I'm always interested in lesser known great mods however because of the share amount of mods on the Fallout 4 Nexus it is pretty hard to find the good stuff, so if you know a good small Mod post it for everyone to know :D

UPDATE!!! FIXED IT I usually use MSI Afterburner and AI Suit to monitor my Computer during Fallout/Elder Scrolls games and i don't know what changed since i haven't updated them both in the past month or so. But it seems that when i use MSI Afterburner together with F4SE 6.1 it CTD's disabling MSI Afterburner fixed it however. Not sure if this can be replicated but it would be nice to see the next version compatible with MSIA. Anyway thanks for your time and I hope it helps someone. :)

As the title says, I only installed F4SE. (had some issues with MO so I redowloaded the whole game and deleted all other files that where left behind from the last version so this is a clean undmoded install) It starts the game (Taskmanager) but the screen is just black and my mouse shows that something is happening but than it just says "Fallout 4 has stopped working" The game is not on my boot drive but on a separate gaming drive. I'm running Windows 7 x64. And it runs just fine with normal launcher. Anyone have an idea? Tanks for for time and help :smile:

I won't, haven't deleted anything since yesterday ^^ "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4" Windows 7 Intel i5-2500 4 Cores 3,30GHz R9-270x 4GB no OC only custom fan-curve "Have you removed all traces of Nmm activity?" Good question, I don't think I have, at least I haven't actively done that. I have left the Nmm Folders/files in peace.

Tried it with steam only and with Nmm both times, same outcome

Ok, no change at all, tried it with only fallout.exe, only fallout4launcher.exe and with both. Same problem.

Hello everyone, I have played fallout 4 since release, with the odd bug and glitch here and there but i always managed to fix it until now. A few days ago I went back to the game after a 2-3 Months pause, now every time after the game launches (F4SE) it freezes approximately 10 seconds after the game starts and gives me the "Fallout 4 has stopped working" Error message. So naturally I thought I messed up with the mods and or one of the mods is no longer compatible with my version of the game (Steam Version with all DLC even the shitty once) which is up to date. I uninstalled everything with Nexus mod manager and than deleted everything left behind in the data folder that was not a vanilla, I moved on to the fallout 4 folder (were the Data folder is) and deleted everything except the Data folder (to remove F4SE) and verified the game files with Steam. After the re-downloading of the missing files, I started the game with the vanilla launcher and ..... it froze on me within aprox. 10 seconds after it launched (I managed to get past the "press any button to start" screen just as before. So, since this didn't do s#*!, I purged all my save files and .ini Files, my load order (in Appdata and every other file in the Fallout 4 folder), verified again and started the launcher and press play.... and still nothing, same problem. So I went Nuclear on the game and uninstalled it via steam, deleted the Fallout 4 folder in "My Games" and deleted the Fallout 4 Folder in "Appdata", checked the steam Folder of Fallout 4, since it wasn't there i re-downloaded the whole game, launched it ..... and STILL the same s#*!. Well, now the whole game is as vanilla as it can be, it is up to date, my drivers had no update since the last time the game worked and as far as I can tell there can't be anymore mod files left to be sent to oblivion. If anyone has any Ideas what could be done, fee free to post, i'll try them all out. Thank you, Nacro.

well that sounds nice, so basically the save is f*#@ed since removing the mods didn't help ... well that's ... nice :sick: So all in all a 6 days ingame save from day one is lost in time xD hmmm I gotta find out which mod is adding the most keywords, because starting a new game with the same mods would be like shooting your left leg because you shot your right one before xD well thanks for the replay :D

So there are a few invisible enemies in the Automatron DLC, at first I thought it was just a stupid one time only hiccup but, than there where more more of them, Ahab was the reason tho investigate, since I know how he should look like. So this is what I noticed: His collision mesh is too small He can't be targeted in Vats He is completely invisible (not a stealthboy) He only punches me, no flamethrower, no machine gun First I thought this is a modding issue and so I tried to fix it, right before I wanted to throw my own feces on the screen like a raging chimp, I just delete all the mods, ENB and F4SE and checked the game cache again but, I guess this may as well be I feature since it's still here (also deleted all the .ini files). So if you anyone has an Idea ore you need some more details feel free to replay. Thanks for the Help :D

OK first things first, i bought the game on Steam with all DLC's, i have been playing it since Novemebr and using Steam for ages. Now my Steam is buged ore what ever this issue is. I tried every possible method on the Internet to repair Steam nothing worcked, i conntacted the Support but they need more time : / and i also heard that they can't rely help untill a patch is out ><! (for thous who don't knaw what this issue is -> Bootstrapper keeps crashing while steam is trying to connect to my Account, even in offline mod, the programe stops responding and this keeps on for hours, no need to wait the programe is dead not proccecing) Ok now to the Skyrim related question, is their a possibility of lounching Skyrim without Steam running? I mean beside of "cracked" version of the game becouse this is not an option, i haven't cracked it and i won't. I have read many forum threads some say their is a way some don't. I would rely like to play Skyrim so if you knaw anything that could help plz tell my >< Also i hope i'm at the right place since this is non of skyrims faults so, excuse me if this is the wrong place ><'' and plz excuse my poor english >< Thank you so so much !
