  1. If I remember correctly the files of the month did not have images before the update, right? So, why add some now? The entire side update is about featuring small mods, that tend to get burried over time. Featuring five top notch mods in a list with pictures (description and comments probably?) would just lead to people voting for the same mods that already are famous. People should vote from the mod's page (which already has pictures) after downloading, enjoying and endorsing the mod. If someone needs pictures in the fotm list to remember which mod to vote for, he/she probably shouldn't vote. I'd likte to see a fotm feed that displays the votes for the current month and the winners of the previous months like the fotm link in the files dropdown menu already does. Edit: I likeDemonking's idea about page numbers for the latest files and images. Edit2: Ooooohhhh wooooohooooo!!! Multiple delete in the tracking center! Since when has that been there? Can't remember seeing it this morning. No more excuses to not sort through those 11 pages. Thankyouthankyouthankyou!
  2. Great update! I like the new look and I'm curious for what's coming next. Edit: If it was for me to say, I'd say the latest files and images blocks are redundant with the new look of the same feeds (which I already love!). So, if there was an additional "file of the month" feed, the blocks could go and the feeds take up the entire width of the site. And while I'm on it, I'd love a "my files" feed so it's not mixed up with the hundreds of mods I'm tracking. I know there's the "manage my files" link. I just thought it would go nicely with the new "everything on the front page" idea.
  3. \o/ woooot more tabs! latest files tab! latest images tab! set my personal default tab! Sorry for all the ! but I still got one more: Thank you, this is awesome! And I just checked FO3Nexus again, I like the site news tab. :)
  4. Again a place to drop a link to my favourite tutorial: Creating an armour for Skyrim Edit: as for that error message I never had excactly that one before. But you didn't say what type of mesh you want to import. Anyways, open the nif in nifskope and see if it has a "bhkcompressedmeshshape". If so -> rightclick -> remove branch. Save and try importing again.
  5. Apart from the clipping that looks awesome. I guess it would be possible to delete the body from one of the mods in nifskope.
  6. Search for "decorator assisstant" hrm probably less s in that word
  7. Wooooot, looking forward to the NMM update! I already use three different plugins.txt for my three different characters and I keep the saves for the characters in different folders. So that means I don't have to manually drag the right files into place before loading skyrim anymore. Sweet! And categories. Thank you so much! As for the side update I admit it will take some time to get used to the new layout. I'm with a lot of people who say they like the frontpage as it is now (on Skyrim Nexus that is). I'm not active on FO3 so it deos look a bit deserted. But I'm sure that won't be the case for me on Skyrim Nexus. Still, would it be feasible to have another tab on the front page that shows the latest mods etc like we are used to?
  8. Open your nif and go to (Block List) NiNode NiTriShape BSDismemberSkinINstance (Block Details) Partitions Partitions Body Parts Set the number to 52 (followiong your example) safe and try out you nif ingame. If the slot number in CK and the body part number in the nif don't match, you get invisible stuff. Good luck!
  9. Sure. Otherwise how would people be able to play skse-mods and "normal" mods at the same time?
  10. Woah. Intrigued by your image I googled "Daggerfall Scout" and found a page with various Daggerfall modding tools. :woot:
  11. Budz, sounds awesome! Still curiously awaiting your mod. Danidragon, no worries. The comment was regarding the request section as much as it was directed towards you. So sorry, I can understand how you get pessimistic with the long times between my updates. But I believe in the end we will have more mods to choose from... Raptor feet, UBR, GPF. More choices can never be bad when modding. Dragten, another one of your ingenious ideas! Thanks! I will try that as soon as possible.
  12. Danidragon - you might want to rethink that attitude. Mods are created in the author's spare time and shared freely. Thus they are gifts to the community. Gifts cannot be late, cannot be demanded and cannot be insufficient. I see that attitude a lot in the request section and it makes me angry to the point of not reading any requests anymore. I mod for myself, for fun, because I love the challenge and learning new things and because I am proud of my work. I will go on with this mod wether anyone downloads it or not. Budz42 - looks great! Like a ribcage. I wonder what it is for. An armour? A new monster? Or some creepy new decoration? Why the imperial insigni on it? I must remember to check out your mod once it's done.
  13. Wow, thanks, that's really motivating! Actually in the latest image I got really nice lighting from the setting sun. The talons are the same as in the picture before, only they don't look that nice at noon. I have to check which specular map I used, if fear it's plain white. :psyduck: Budz42, please don't stop working on your quest! I image it's a ton of work even for small quests... So it's a big  to everyone who's willing to do that. Oh, and for the record: I can think of to possibilities to match my feet texture to the legs, if I had the high poly body model Beth used (I don't) or if I could load textures in sculptris (I can't). Oh well.
