  1. So I'm doing a fresh start on modding since I haven't done any for ages, but when I launch Skyrim with SKSE (Nothing Else) My 360 isn't recognised. This is a problem with SKSE as my controller works fine on everything else (including Vanilla Skyrim). I am Using MOI am using all the DLCSKSE is being Launched from MOI have not got any other mods activated SKSE Scripts is at the top of my load order.I also had to manually set my resolution on the MO Skyrimprefs.ini so I think that there may be a problem (I've never had to change the MO Skyrimprefs before) which has caused the controller preferences to not be moved over. I'd appreciate help either making the MO Skyrimprefs.ini a bit more self sufficient like I remember it being (since I didn't even know it existed until today) or just fixing it so it will recognise my 360 usb controller. If you require any further information I will do my best to fulfill the request asap.
  2. doesn't it? It seemed to work fine before, and it informed me when patches were missing masters more precisely (LOOT run as an executable ignores these errors for me)
  3. Hi, when I try to run the mod organizer plugins sort, it attempts to load loot and spawns the message I'm assuming I have installed LOOT in the wrong place when I updated it (This feature used to work) but I can't find anything online on the proper place to install it so that MO can recognise it. Thanks in advance for your time!
  4. So, I think I got a bit over my head, with far too many mods installed, making a crazy chaos of a skyrim directory which has made my game unstable. The final straw is that the perkus maximus patch (my lastest addition) cannot import everything because it's so broken. I'd like to start again, redownloading things and taking my time to make sure I don't go over the top, and that everything is functional. I own Skyrim and all the DLC on steam. Is the best thing to do uninstall it on steam, and delete anything left in the skyrim directory? I don't want to make it any worse, obviously.
  5. It would be great if there were a mod out there which allowed you to bypass the character creation and spawn you with a random race and gender. My intention would be to use it alongside skyrim unbound, to create a truly random experience upon starting a new game, you could be anybody, anywhere, with any amount of items/gold. At the minute, you still have to make a character, and sometimes I think it would add to the immersion if you dropped out the sky and went "right, who am I?" rather than "what am I wearing?"
  6. Thanks, but I don't think that is really what I'm looking for. I'm seeking the "drop out of the sky and figure out what your story is" kind of rp experience. However, it could come in handy at some point so thanks.
  7. Hi, does anybody know if the mod I seek exists? I really want an alternative opening mod which does these things: Allows me to select whether dragons exist, whether I am the Dragon bornPuts me in random locations and random equipment, items and gold. (and rags never come with anything)Allows me to select a random class in the character creation menu instead of choosing race and genderThe closest I've found is Skyrim unbound, but that only covers the first two. (not to mention it's only on SteamWorkshop and appears to be missing features compared to all videos available online of it)
  8. Oops sorry, I just noticed there's a sticky for things like this.

  10. Hi, I just want some clarification on what the technical terms used for manual downloads translate into for the more simple nexus mod downloads. E.g. If an installation says "Overwrite everything" for an update, does that mean you click "yes" when prompted whether to upgrade your mod, or install it separately? Also, when mods have optional patches (eg dawnguard compatibility) they usually don't say how they should be installed for them to function. If I were to install, for example, the Enhanced Blood Textures, then regardless of whether I click yes or no, my game crashes on startup - yet there isn't any instructions.
  11. Ok, thanks for your help! Now if only it would bloody hurry up downloading on my slow internet so I could actually see what it's like!
  12. Wow, thanks there! That does look really good. I have a technical question, if you're willing. There doesn't seem to be instructions for us tech idiots on how to install the updates with no ENB and using NMM. Does 1.1 : Choose your esp inside main esp files and copy into data folder. Then copy all inside data files into skyrim data folder. mean click "yes" on the nexus mods prompt? Also same question for 2: Install in skyrim/data folder and overwrite everything. Sorry if that's a stupid question, I don't mod much (as you can probably tell.....) and this is a first for me.
  13. I'm looking for a graphics/textures mod which adds some detail into the game, and makes it a little more vibrant than vanilla. I don't have a supercomputer though, so I'd like to strike a good balance between beauty and performance. What is the best graphics mod for this type of requirement?
