  1. The general cause appears to be something happening that there is no time to draw on screen and then referencing the undrawn object that should have been there. It is a general issue with the game engine, also known from New Vegas and Oldrim, that it does not have a trap for that condition but just abends. Now, with a mod collecction installed I keep getting the problem with sorcerer fort east of Dragonbridge. In Oldrim the area around Whiterun was notorious for that problem. One not unreasonable asumption is that there is a maximum for objects in a cell that is exceeded when adding too many critters to the game. In New Vegas invisible actors that should just shimmer could cause it. Can we please have a 64 bit New Vegas btw. ... please, please, please ..... PLEASE!
  2. Ooops, should teach me to test before typing, it fixes the landscape, but not the claim of saves being corrupt that aren't. Also speaking to Cicero so that Thor Testlaufer can earn some easy gold doesn't seem to happen. Actually checking if there was an upgrade for the SSE engine fix finally led the way to resolving this issue, there were no files to overwrite. Vortex stands over there in the corner, looking very innocent and whistling ...... somehow those engine fixes seem to have (been) vanished ......

This one solves it apparently, also remedies failure of displaying all landscape elements, something that causes a grave risk of pc falling into the ocean below everything - apprently something is not allocated "enough of" for the grave extent of modding today: SSE Engine Fixes - Save Corrupt Fix at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
  4. I can't seem to find a simple on screen clock running in skyrim-time .... ???
