  1. A mod that changes or adds throwable dwemer spiders. it would either change the existing throwable spiders from dragonborn dlc or somehow add mini dwemer spiders.

I have no knowledge of particle effects or anything really in modding but I would really like to see someone try this out, I have been playing with a unique race overhaul mod, with my redguard character, and I love the fact that the author made shenai a race power and not a conjuration spell but I hate that fact that its still your basic bound sword. Basically what im asking for is someone to make a *bound* scimitar with, if possible a different glow effect, preferably a sunlike glow described in lore.
  3. that mod looks interesting but its not the kind of shadow magic I'm looking for in a mod, the magic described in lore is not about death and necromancy its about bending shadows to your will and change, I think it would fit perfectly under alteration/illusion. Adding spells like shadow clones, and maybe some types of teleportation, buffs and such. "One of the more common applications of Shadow Magic is in the creation of Shadow Gates. These are magical barriers often used to protect treasure, and can only be bypassed through use of a Shadowkey. Only eleven Shadowkeys are known to be in existence. Death in a shadow realm is the only way to break the connection.[4]" "Shadow Magic rivals even the power of the Elder Scrolls themselves, having the power to potentially change the past, present, and future through the manipulation of shadow" - from uesp.com I could only find the one page on uesp for lore ref. but it has so much potential and so much room for exploration and creation of new and unique magic.

True redguards do not rely on magic for combat but that doesn't mean it doesn't play a role in their lore, Azra Nightwielder, a redguard first discovered and was the most powerful user of shadow magic, and most of the more integrated Redguard culture accepts many form of magic and their use, just conjuration and necromancy are still almost wholly frowned upon by Redguards as I remember. I also like to believe that the sword singers and ansei wielded some form of alteration magic, even though making magic swords is more a conjuration thing, the lore never mentions any connection to it and makes it seem like it's something else all together, making a sword out of light and mysterious magicks. anyways back to shadow magic. I think it would much more interesting coming from the deserts of hammerfell and cliffs and mountains of highrock, other than written lore that cleary says its common there, but because the elves already have so much magic lore and its always about some powerful dark elf or high elf mage. It would be interesting to see something from the other races.
  5. I hope so as well, I would love to help with lore dev about it, as for spells I have some ideas too. I think the best setting for it is in the reach, maybe a travelling redguard mage from hammerfell or a breton from highrock, where it is more common, bringing new magics or bringing a new enemy into play
  6. I would really love to see some shadow magic added to skyrim. Its talked about briefly in lore as far as I can remember, and it just seems like something that should be expanded upon. I know you cannot add new skill trees but I believe it would fit nicely into alteration or the illusion skill trees, or both since it very mysterious and quite powerful, the ability to form a shadow clone of oneself, to see and interact with other alternate dimensions and universes, to make shadow a tool hide in or as a weapon. I have no modding skills whatsoever, but would love to see this developed and would support and help in anyway I can. shadow magic <---- here is link to uesp page on shadow magic

I was thinking of morrrowind just recently and fondly remember swimming along with my argonian spear man killing slaughterfish and other such creatures, And it really bothered me that they took it out of skyrim. The ability to fight underwater, as least for argonians, with weapons or even just your fists. then a another thought came to me, argonians being semi aquatic creatures definately have the upper hand against any fool to chased them into the water. wouldn't it be awesome if by some kind of animation or script to allow the player to hold their opponents under long enough to drown? or perhaps maybe a kind of kill cam of some kind trigged when in water deep enough?
  8. Hi all, first post ever and long time user. Anyways.. Just wondering because idk how it would be possible to change two handed battle axe idle to crossbow Holding idle. I know it seems strange but while playing I was using a "spear" and switch back to crossbow then back to the spear and my spear was held out like he was charging, basically it looked more like how a spear should be held. Thanks for reading thru the ramble
