[Mod Request: Better NPC]

The vanilla NPCs are so ugly!

 

Maybe someone can mod them?

 

I also do not know why 95% of the NPC´s have black faces. Maybe we can just equal white and black abit?

I had this too. I orderd one Magnetar miner without drones. Was build in minutes

I orderd a second Magnetar with drones... took forever cause the station had no drone parts.

 

I did let X4 run over night and the next day it was ready. I think the drone parts are in shortage in general.

Yep, atm seems only manual adding mods work for X4. No Vortex

How to add X4 Foundation to Vortex (Steam)?

 

Autodiscovery did not find the X4.exe and it seems there is no way to manually add it?

[Not working with No Mans Sky Nexus at all]

The Installation Path you set in Settings needs to be an empty directory, separate from your game. Files will be "deployed" to the right game directory automatically, you don't have to configure that.

 

Regarding install option, well, there is a "custom install location" on the download page but you should be aware that you need to disable automatic updates for now and manually keep Vortex up-to-date when using it. (at least for the time being)

 

Regarding the browser: Vortex uses the browser that's set up as the default browser in your system, it doesn't select Edge itself.

 

I was just stuck with the install path. I did make a new folder for the install path. Then there where an error below I can not activate mods and this did not let me out of there anymore. To the right there was a button "FIx". Pressing this button did nothing. I could install a mod then downloaded from Nexus and into an empty mod folder. But I could not activate it.

 

The browser thing: You are right. Default was my Mozilla. But I could not login with Mozilla to Vortex or my Nexus account from Vortex. So I had to switch to Edge to succesfully log in. Maybe still a bug.

[Not working with No Mans Sky Nexus at all]

Does not find MODS folder. If empty my mods Folder it does install mods but not activate them.

 

Vortex is asking for the Installation path to No Mans Sky. I select X:\Games\steamapp\No Man's Sky\

It tells me the Installation path is not empty. Sure it is not cause my game is installed there. Linking the Installation path to the mods Folder comes up with the same error. Cant fix it.

 

I also want a Vortex Install Option. I NEVER install anything at my C Drive except Windows

Second I would like to use my Mozilla Browser to sign into Vortex, not Edge and switching back and forth browser.

 

Deinstalled for Now but Vortex Looks cool. Sorry it is not usefull for me.
