  1. Thanks for replying! Off to send the info...
  2. Just wondering. I purchased Premium yesterday.
  3. After finding a mod that was causing some unexpected problems, I decided to start over....again. I cleaned my directory, reinstalled my mods, and loaded up. Now I've got one tiny issue. I've got a bad texture, and I'm not too sure how to pinpoint which one it is. At the beginning of the game after running into the Keep, I noticed that I could see the cells under the keep. I just killed the female Captain and headed to that opening to grab items out of those chests. That's when I noticed it. At first, I though it was just bad shadows caused by my lighting mod. I moved around and moved around until I figured out what it was. It wasn't shadows at all. It was actually the areas below where I was standing. I could see below me through the walls and the floor. My lighting mod just made it more obvious. How can I find out what texture that is? If I know what texture that is, I might be able to pinpoint what mod changed it or didn't change it. It might fix that annoying thing I always see running into the tower the first time also. After Ulfric says we need to move now, the wall texture around the stairs looks like it is covered in water or ice or something. It's pretty ugly. Any help is appreciated!
  4. Thanks for the reply! Been playing around with mods to just find out which mod is locking it. I figured it out after SEVERAL deactivate/load a game/check and rinse and repeat. It's Deadly Dragons. What's weird is it was fine before. Something else to add to the weirdness. I figured I would just open up DD in the CK and make to two tiny changes there. Easy fix, right? Wrong. Even changing the weight in the mod that blocks it doesn't do anything. As long as it is active, it's locked to default values. I hate to ask the author, but maybe he can give some insight. All modders deserve some respect for their time and effort, and I feel bad if I have to ask for their help. Those guys get hammered more than than they get thank yous.
  5. Ok... I'm pulling out my hair on this one. I have two different mods. One of those mods is pretty big and includes adjusting the weight of dragon bone and scales. After a fresh install, I load up and start playing. After killing the first dragon, I noticed that the weight was still the default. I began to try a few things. I stopped using the Bashed Patch and still the same. I move the mod dead last. I moved the mod all the way to the top. Nothing.... Well... I went to the workshop and subscribed to a mod that specifically changes the weight to zero. I activated and nothing. I moved it all around in the load. Nothing.... Something is blocking the dragon scales and bones from allowing the weight to change. I went into TES5Edit. The last time I changed something I ruined my game so I only look and search. I have no mods that have any reference to the weight except the Skyrim.esm and the two mods listed above. The reason why it's bothering me so much is it was all working just fine before the fresh install. To add, the fresh install included installing Skyrim to it's own hard drive (could be important). It doesn't seem to be a load order thing. I checked the mods in the CK and the correct items are referenced and changed. I'm lost..... What could basically block something so minor? >.< Is there something I can check? /cry Thanks!
  6. Just wondering if there is a heat-like effect out there? Think of a grill. No smoke or fire....just a heat effect around it. Another example is being in extreme heat environment such as a desert. Anyone understand what I'm what I'm talking about and secondly is there one? I'd love to see something like on a bathing pool, random rocks on a very sunny day, or being tied into your vision based off weather. Not to mention, this would be a must for the sweet roll :P Just curious... Thanks!
  7. Found it browsing some of the .ini files that a couple of mods add. I found two that had the old resolutions. I changed them and I'm back in business. Some mods are really picky lol.
  8. Last night I was playing fine with a total of 89 mods. No hiccups, glitches or anything. I go to play today and CTD whenever I try to load a previous save. It will let me start a new game without issues. I made one change during the middle of my gaming session last night. I bumped up my screen resolution. That's it. Nothing else. Playing around, I started up a new game. It loaded no problem so I exited back to the main screen and tried loading up a save. It worked, but I had the 'Move Mouse around' box (from the very beginning of the game) stuck in the middle of my screen on all saves. Seriously... I only changed my screen resolution from last night to today. Changing it back today did nothing for the saves. All saves are screwed.... Does changing screen resolution change something very sensitive other than just the resolution? I used the Skyrim Config Tool to make the change last night. It's worth noting that. I'm testing with a new game to see if I can repeat the issue. If so, something is wrong with....something lol. Any insight is helpful....
  9. Good news and bad news.... Good News: The navmesh is fixed. I was able to take my follower everywhere without her getting stuck. Bad news: It messed up the two NPC's that are in the mod. They just stand there now instead of moving around. I can't win to lose lol. I'll get it fixed....
  10. Thanks guys! I'm in.... Funny thing.... One of the warnings was about two triangles with navmesh issues. It's probably the tiny area I need to fix lol.
  11. I added the this line in the skyrimeditor.ini with no luck: bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1 Result? Still crashes... So I tired adding the same line to the skyrimeditorprefs.ini. Same results.... Now I'm getting aggravated. I hate when software kicks my arse... It crashes at 89% while loading the update.esm everytime.... EDIT: I guess I should have hit F5 on this page lol. Adding stuff now...
  12. Keep in mind that I'm the type of guy who likes to poke around to see how someone done something in their mod. I managed to apply a fix to a mod myself even though the author found the problem lol. I've also managed to basically combine some really simple mods together. Well.... I've run across another one of those mods that has a slight issue with a tiny section with the navmesh. The author hasn't touched the mod since September so I'm thinking he 'might' not care about it anymore. I decided to watch a couple of videos about navmeshing since the issue is basically one doorway. Here's my problem.... The CK crashes EVERYTIME trying to load the mod. I've noticed that the difference between this mod and all other mods I've opened is this particular one has three parents versus the usual one parent. Any guidance is helpful. I just want to fix this tiny spot so my followers can get back through the door. That's right... They can force their way in along the edge of the wall but then they can't leave lol. Thanks!
  13. I ran across a few trash mods, but most of them were used while adventuring. I was thinking something a tad different. If it's been done, please feel free to point me to the mod or at least one super close. Take your standard chest. When you hit 'E' to open it, you are presented with menu options. Option 1 - Open (acts normal). Option 2 - Empty. If Option 2 is picked, another menu opens. It just asks you to confirm. Clicking Yes will permanently remove all items stored in the chest from your game save. Clicking No will just take you back to the first initial options. There would need to be spacing or wording to prevent people from clicking twice in a row accidentally. I like to get rid of some of the clutter in my houses, or sometimes I'm moving houses. I could use a standard chest to get rid of stuff real fast. Just a thought I had moving everything in my house to a new house the other day. Thanks!
