I know that there are number of mods which remove the gates from the strip and unite the it for one place. All those mods aren't perfect, as they cause bugs and fps drops. personally,on the vanilla game, I don't mind the loading screens, what is bugging me is the ugly gates which separate the strip I would do this my self, though I haven't muchexperience on the GECK
