I created exceptions for it in my anti virus and it was still being blocked. I did some more googling and found a solution that involved some registry edits. Worked for me. Thanks very much for your help though.

I have a bit of a weird problem. I downloaded the install file for NMM and it won't open on my PC. I click and get a loading symbol for a second but then nothing. Other .exe install files are working fine. I even tested out older versions of the NMM that were laying around in my DL folder and they worked fine. It's just when I try to open the latest version. Any suggestions on how I can get around this?

Just went to download NMM version .48.2 and I cant get it to install. When I try and open the .exe nothing happens. Any suggestions?

[Unable to Pick Locks]

I tried disabling some mods to see what was causing the problem. When i disabled SkyRe I was able to pick locks again. Does anyone have any ideas what I may have messed up here to cause a problem like this? I have looked around and I cant find anything.

So I installed Skyrim again recently. Installed a bunch of mods and when I get to the helgen torture room i discovered I can't pick locks. I try to activate the locked doors but nothing happens. I do have lockpicks in my inventory (first thing I checked; I'm not that dumb :D) Any one have any suggestions? My load order is as follows:
