  1. The game mostly runs fine and is playable save for a little stuttering here and there, but is constantly freezing during gameplay and loading screens. At least once an hour. I had tried adding a few mods, so here is the current load order - http://pastebin.com/jWbLemfi
  2. Things seem more stable using your reccomended load order, and I will give FNV4GB Enabler a try. Only thing now are black textures in some interiors, and I'm not sure what the problem is there. Thank you for your help thus far, but you dont need to help me if you don't want to, or if it is too frustrating. Ive been modding Bethesda games for years but I still don't have any idea how all of it works. I've watched tutorial videos one after another, but It just does not click with me. I dont know how the engine works, or how load order works, or what to do when something bad happens. So yes, I am beyond aware I have little to no idea what I am doing. And I'm a really busy person. I check the forums every chance I get, and even on weekends I am still really busy. Sorry about that.
  3. Interior Lighting Overhaul - http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35794/? World of Pain - http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38719/? I'd like to use these if possible, but if not, so be it.
  4. I was able to load the dummy character save, after re-enabling mods one by one. The culprits of problems seemed to be Interior Lighting Overhaul and World of Pain. Two mods I did not play with when I ran modded FNV a while back. I doubt that is a coincidence. Nevertheless though, the game seems.... unstable? When I entered a new area, some of the textures were not loaded properly, or when I exited an area at one point, the game crashed to desktop with an "out of memory" error. Calling it a night for now though. Got early classes tomorrow.
  5. Eat your heart out, my friend - https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B72NQ-igSVl0UFZyZXlqbEg4ZWs And the accompanying load order - http://pastebin.com/9CYkivLV
  6. I can tell. Regardless, I downloaded FNVEdit, fixed load order issues, made a merged patch, started a new save, and still freezes in the same spot as usual. I can assure you it is not a computer specs problem too.
  7. I respond slow 'cause I'm a full time student so like, I got stuff to do a lot. Not because my internet is bad. It is bad, but that is unrelated. Anyway, I'll try what you suggested for merge patching.
  8. My apologies, I have been busy doing work, and can't really check the forums too often. Regardless, I really appreciate your help getting me on the right track. Right now everything works up until I exit Doc Mitchell's clinic, then the game crashes to desktop. Certainly a step up from before though. My guess is my load order is all kinds of f*#@ed because I never know how to sort it, and LOOT is bugging out right now. Here is my current load order. http://pastebin.com/eeK8Tpm3
  9. Ah, I see. I did not know mod files were kept in the steam folder. Should I delete whatever is in there, and do a fresh fresh re-install?
  10. I'm not sure I entirely follow. I did a fresh install of FNV, dropped NMM for FOMM, deleted all mods from the NMM dirctory and even before I reinstalled FCO-FOMM, the game crashed as usual. Now when I install FCO, the game crashes right at launch, before even starting opening credits or the main menu. I don't know what you mean by dragging all of the unused plugins from the data directory - the only one I can see is the FCO master (http://imgur.com/a/AbOrM) I have no idea what the problem is at this point.
  11. Okay, thanks for going so above and beyond! Let me know what else you find. I might put off a fresh install if you are still looking into it. Again, thanks for your time. EDIT: I have to call it a night at least for me, because I have early classes tomorrow, but I'll check back as soon as I can.
  12. @dubiousintent I am primarily using Nexus Mod Manager. The game is installed in the Steam directory. I fixed my previous mistake of moving the PN esps down. I tried to verify the game cache, and it reaquired two files. I attempted to run the game again, but still, crashes after the first loading screen. I think I might call it a night and re-install FNV fresh from steam and clear NMM's mod directory, as no matter what it seems like the game will be stuck in a ditch until then.
  13. 1. The package was not manually downloaded and placed into the mod directory. I downloaded it through NMM, which shares the directory with FOMM. Both seem to run the game interchangeably. 2. Uninstalling FCO has the same results as disabling it - crashing after the first loading screen.
