OI WE FOUND THE FIX! I'm gonna shoot the post verbatim. "Go to the Vortex dashboard and scroll down until you see Tools. You should see four (4) tiles in that section, one of them labeled 'Launch Game with REDmods Enabled'. Open its context menu (the three vertical dots) and select Edit. Take note of the setup, specifically the Target location (where your Cyberpunk game is installed) and Command Line. Once you've made your notes, hit Cancel. Next, still in the Tools section, click on the large plus (+) and select Create. Title it, and set the Target path to your game's exe file. However, leave the Command Line empty. Once done, hit Save. After deploying your mods and using the Latest Load Order tool (the red cogs), launch your game from the new tool you made." This immediately solved the problem for me and I hope it helps you too.

I can't even get past the intro video. It just plays the whole thing then freezes and that's with or without mods. It's weird as hell. If I launch it through steam, the game works just fine but, if I launch it through a clean install of Vortex without a single mod, it won't load at all.

Dang, no replies yet? Having the same issue and I cannot figure it out for the life of me. It's really weird, mods or no mods and it just gets stuck after the intro video. I've been using vortex for years with plenty of other games and haven't encountered something like this before. I'm completely out of ideas. Good luck in finding a fix! Do let me know if you've figured it out.
