  1. Also forgot to add if you are using lots of mods especially ones like civil war overhaul make sure you follow their guide to installing and uninstalling also I have no idea or not but if your mods arnt in the proper load order the game will never start and ctd or just freeze you can use a program like LOOT or boss I would recremend loot and they will automatically sort your mods in the correct load order and notify you of any errors or conflicting mods. Hope this helps
  2. Steam for some reason is horrible at uninstalling games it just uninstalls the game but leaves alot files like mods, config files, etc steam dosent fully uninstall the game. Go to iobit.com and download uninstaller its completely free run it click on skyrim or any othe game you want to delete click uninstall after it has uninstalled it will search your computer for any remaning files that steam left out and delete them.
  3. I found this on the nexus forums by Renden

Alright guys I found an easy fix for it.

    1. Start up steam.

    2. Go to your library and find Skyrim.

    3. Right-click on it and select properties.

    4. Go to the Local Files tab.

    5. Click 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache'....

    6. Let it do it's thing.

    7. Start Skyrim back up and play.

Oh and right after I did that the game patched so I don't know if it's thanks to the patch or if it's what I did so good luck to you guys and hope this helped.

and this is one I found on steam

Uninstall all the mods, every one of them. Then, reinstall them one by one, each time opening the game and seeing if it runs. Once you find a mod that stops it from working, time for some googling and troubleshooting.
  4. Instead of rebooting you can go to ctrl alt del go to processes find TESV.exe and right click and select end process that should stop it from running in the background (I've attached an image to show you how) As for the game freezing on you I will look around google and see if I can find anything that will help. You could prob try if you havent already to make sure none of your mods are running when you start skyrim. If I think of anything else I will let you know.
  5. I like your idea seams pretty legit. Have you done any work yet on this? I've modded other games but im new to the creation kit and still learning. you might want someone more experienced in CK but if you dont mind me giving it a try ill help you out.
  6. I'm new to modding and have run into a problem and can't find the answer on google I have created a small town complete with npcs i've tested the mod and all the npcs go about their business like I planned but when I tested to see if they would defend themselves I spawned a dragon and the npcs just kept walking around on fire and ignoring the attacking dragon. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks
