Thanks for the advice on FOMM,I have since got the replacement bodies working properly now on to the next step,one mod at a time!

I should add that I only play a couple games on PC,FONV and Wasteland 2 DC.I am not a huge gamer and just like these games the most.Any other games I play are on Xbox.

I am not getting any conflict notice from Vortex,so you are saying I should disable LOOT or should it be removed

This is where I get confused,all the different advice,not saying any better than the other.Anyway so if I use FOMM do I remove the mods from Vortex and then re-install through FOMM.I do not care if I have to start over if it gets the game and mods working.Like I have said this is all foreign to me and do thank you for helping

I should add that after each mod install I run LOOT before starting game.I hope that this the correct thing to do

mods installed in this order Goodsprings Shack Blackwater rifle La Long Carabine Body replacers SoL Mod download order installed (downloaded) as per Modding guides. By toggle Archive Invalidation do you mean turning the Archive Invalidation on Vortex off and on? I would like to thank you guys that are taking the time to help an old guy with mods.I mean when I to school we never even dreamed of a calculator let along a computer . I know that the issues I am having are most likely my own doing as I have very little understanding of how these systems work and find the guides hard to understand as ,to me,it is like a foreign language.You guys a re teaching a very old dog some new tricks. I should have added the body replacers installed as per Spice of Life requirements if that makes any difference

Installed through Vortex Roberts male body 3.4 underwear on player has large black patch across chest and on shins .Also on some NPCs but not all.For example the three tugs in Freeeside that lure you into ally 2 had the Roberts underwear body one had shorts and the same black patches.Anyone else have this issue?

I think I am getting a handle on this and realize I have made some mistakes.I am going to remove the moddsand the game and start over.Not a big deal.Should I also remove and re-install steam out side of program folders as well?Asmy laptop has a D drive(marked as DATA,C drive marked as Windows) should I put everything related to steam and games into a new folder? First off let me say that I am a Neanderthal when it comes to technology and modding! I love New Vegas and have been playing since it came out.It just has that special something.After several years I felt it was time to add that something extra and discovered modds.Afterwatching many youtube vids on modded games which are totally amazing I have been playing with some modds with limited success.The more I watch the more confused I get.One constant though seems to be not to put New Vegas in to program folder but into one such as games.As of right now mine is installedin the program 86 folder.Can I just click and drag the whole Steam folder over to games and if I do will Vortex find the new location?Should I also move vortex and Loot to the new file as well. Thanks in advance for your held and advice and to those creative people who build these modds Amazing work and Keep it up! P.S. Currently using a MSI GP63 Leopard 8RD
