Hm. As an arcane warrior, you have an abundance of in-game armor to choose from with decent stats for a BM SP healer. That said, I'm accustomed to playing on PS3. I swear, some gear was just plain painful to look at lol. When I first loaded DAO on the PC (I swear I'm not that much of a freak) I was utterly amazed at the grass when I arrived at Ostagar. It was like playing an entirely different game ... and the sound effects! Wow. Errr enough about my fascination with the texture of weeds :unsure: Anyhow, I wound up playing around with the original mage robes using this mod Universal Dye Kit alongside http://nezroy.com/DAOTintCreator/ to alter the color & texture. For instance, I hate the square padding on the upper chest alongside the gaudy orange color the original female elven robes have. The look suits my red haired, green eyed elven warden perfectly. :laugh: Hope that helps. Although, I assume you knew about that mod as it seems fairly common. I dislike how revealing Oracle robes are for females yet the male ones seemed rather attractive. Oh, interesting sidenote: these robes aren't compatible with the dye kit, but if you want to dye your weapons/staff equip one and select the tint. :tongue:

Ariane's clan never came across the mirror, rather she's seeking an ancient tome Morrigan stole from her clan. Since it's written in ancient elvish and the Dalish have lost most of their history, language, etc. the only thing her keeper knew about the book was that it was a treatise on something the ancients called an "Eluvian." Only when you head to the library in the circle will you discover Eluvian is the ancient elven word for mirror. If you played a Dalish elf, you can tell her and Finn that you came across such a mirror and destroyed it. If you played through from another origin Ariane mentions another Dalish clan who came across such a mirror and lost two hunters to it before moving north out of sorrow. (I'd have to play it through again to remember her reference for non-Dalish Wardens better as it's been awhile, but she mentions one hunter disappearing and the other dying shortly after to some mysterious illness.)

Just a note, Ariane isn't from the same clan as the Dalish Warden (whose keeper is Marethari.) She's from one of the numerous wandering clans guided by Keeper Solan (who is male btw.)

OMG Sweeny's ramble about burning holes in trousers is just precious. I'd suggest him if you've only used the arachnophobe elf and want to mix it up... Well, I found it hilarious anyhow. :P I've used everyone on the list aside from Torrin....Might have to try and figure out how to write that proposal he wants next time. That, or bribe the chatty elf who always has his nose in a book.... :whistling:

How Ironic that I stumbled upon this while searching for a similar mod before deciding to take the matter into my own hands. Sorry my comment is probably irrelevant as I'm unfamiliar with the tool-set and have a great deal of learning left before I'd be able to produce a viable, conflict-free mod. =\. Anyhow, I did stumble on Wings of Velvet these unique robes for male and female mages. They didn't suit my character but they're definitely worth looking into.
