I'm wondering how would I switch it so the slide/strafe keys would be A and D, while making the Q and R keys the turning keys?

I have no problem really with mod authors trying to sell their mods, though I disagree with the percentage distribution like many others. I have no problems with the curator program either. Liassez Faire.

 

The biggest problem I have is Valve's complacent, and even complicit response to mod and content theft. Their stance seems to be pretty much "It's yours, the community's, problem and if you can't police it yourselves, oh f*#@ing well, once it hits the market it belongs to us now anyways and we make a profit either way. And the f*#@ you gonna do about it? Go ahead and get a lawyer, we'll just bleed you dry anwyays." They're doing absolutely nothing to protect content creators for the sake of the quick buck, and in so doing are discouraging(and really, contradicting) the whole "big mods like Falskaar 'deserve' compensation for their 'work'!" view point.

 

Many mod makers have no legal recourse in such situations and all that is going to do is dry up innovative passion projects, and the future of modding is just going to end up being IWIN swords and horsecocks. Small easy to do things that a single person can do without fear of their work being stolen if they put it to market as soon as they release, that doesn't need constant upkeep.

I only have one option checked for the timescale and the scarcity loot and merchant mods so they're not conflicting with eachother.

Hey everyone, I was just curious where I can find the text file that lists your mod load order. I remember doing so for either this or Skyrim quite awhile ago but I can't remember where it's at.

[Help identifying]

ok, I just need a little help identifying if a couple of guys who randomly attacked me are from a mod or if it's vanilla to the Dawnguard DLC. I'm doing a vampire playthrough which is something I don't normally do, but wanted to see the quests from that side of things when I'm randomly attacked by a vampire NPC named Vigilant Talwin and one with a generic Hired Assassin name. When the one starts talking though it's named Tolan instead of Talwin, but by all accounts Vigilant Tolan is dead in Frostmere and not a vampire. Here's a screenshot of the NPC:

Vigilant Talwin himself teleports out when he hits 0 health, and the contract itself doesnt start a quest or the like.

[Site issues since Dawnguard]

I'm having the exact same problems as MDC. and the bad gateway first comes up as a 504, then a 500, then says it's unable to load page when refreshing a few times. Hopefully this helps you guys sort things out a bit.

it's also no guarantee that those are what are causing your crashes. You'll more than likely have to go through each mod 1x1 and seeing which is causing the crashes.

while i didnt personally buy it(it was gifted to me from a friend on steam) it's been a blast so far. I do experience the occasional CTD or lockup now that I didnt before, but it's not excessive. Also you can tell there was a LOT of love put into this Expac/DLC. I mean the Soul Cairn alone...no other place in any game has inspired both so much awe and loathing at the same time for me.

I'm not sure what the OP is asking for really in this. Are you seeking vindication for your favorite race? Are you hoping to unlock deep psychological impulses shared by a common player base?

 

Cause to me you're pretty much asking the question "Who would win in this fantasy match-up, Mike Tyson or Mohammad Ali....But both boxer's are hog-tied and gagged, while being blindfolded".
