  1. Seems interesting though wouldn't coal be mined dry as a result of the resource wars? Even now we're seeing coal mines dry out as an increasing rate.

Well not really, as Coal was not an issue with the resource wars. The resource wars focused on more refined sources of energy such as liquid fuel and nuclear energy. Even by today's standards coal is too outdated to ever go back to as a major power source. Also, it is a fact that in Fallout 76 there is still coal mines, because even though its not a major source of energy it still has uses like in our real world.

  2. Hello Nexus! Apologies for getting this to you this late, we've been so busy on the FNP project that I almost forgot to post our newest update video! 3. Hello fellow Fallout fans,

My name is Avold and I am the lead writer for a project known as Fallout: New Pittsburgh! Our goal is to bring back the Pitt DLC location with new exciting content 10 years following the slave sided ending of the DLC. We plan to add new weapons, mobs, vegetation, quests, and characters everyone can enjoy. We also will be using vanilla game main player voice lines so our mod will blend in with your base game. Enjoy exploring the Pitt from the DLC, or even explore the surrounding area's such as the suburbs, Train yard, and the coal fields which make up the Western Pennsylvanian landscape. We will be releasing update videos each month and hopefully some pod casts to help shed more light on our lore and our goals for this massive game sized project.

    Project Recruitment:

    • Programmers/Scriptors: We need persons who can help with implementing quests, guns, workbenches, certain moving vehicles, and other such things into the game. This may also involve separate gun mods which will go along with the development of our main mod.

    • Modelers: We are looking for people with experience in modeling who can create vegetation, clothing, guns, animals/mobs, architectural building kits, junk items, and other items for the game. We have many talented modelers as of now but the more we have the quicker this mod gets done.

    • Concept/2D Artists: We are in need of persons who can design characters, machinery, guns, creatures, and settings(such as buildings, vegetation, etc)

    • Level Designers: Persons who have Creation Kit and some experience in designing settings for Fallout mod projects we will definitely require your assistance if you're will to help out. Our map is quite large, from the countryside and coal mines to the suburbs and skylines our mod will require hundreds of structures most likely, and plenty of interiors. Also of course natural scenes such as parks and forests.
