  1. Fallout 4 was recently patched and the script extender hasn't been updated to match the new game version yet, which is why it isn't working.

You'll either have to wait for it to update (no time estimates have been given on this yet) or "roll-back" your game version to a previous one. There's a few guides and files available on-site to help with that if you choose to try it.

since Capcom did not renew the license

That right there, would be your main problem. It wouldn't be legal to use it as a distributed item without the permission of the copyright holder. You'd have to get them to agree to the use first - and be able to prove it.

You could do it yourself - for yourself -  if you learned how, but uploading it to share would cause you (or whomever did it) a lot of issues (and Nexusmods would not host such a file).

This isn't the first time people lost their mind over Mod of the Month.

Maybe you need to change the format so people like Warfighter don't view this as some King of the Hill Royal Rumble match......

Pesonally speaking I never seen the point in it. I know it was never intended to be some sort of competition, but it was also obvious that is exactly what a lot of people would treat it like rather than the passive take it was meant to have - and despite the fact we disallow begging for votes.

I'd rather it was done away with to be honest.

  4. Well, partly because (in Skyrim's case at least) people have played the base game so much it's not a challenge anymore, so they mod in things to make it that little bit more of a struggle in attempts to regain that sense of danger they had when they first played. Get that "early game" kick back into it.

Others pretty to make their games extremely difficult since they enjoy that sort of experience (I suspect many in this group also play survival games like the long dark or green hell), and if they mod the game they tend to transfer that same level to their mods because it's their "normal". (I'm in this group myself).

If it's a real issue for your own playthroughs then perhaps looking for mods that make it easier to manage might be in order? Or learning enough to adjust the stats and levels on the mods you like but find make things harder for you?

    Why? due to copyright infringement.

    From what I see, yes.

The mod included a ton of music taken from various GTA games that the uploader could not have possibly gotten permission to use.

Which is a violation of our site terms and conditions:

Vortex has replaced Nexus Mod Manager as the official mod manager of Nexus Mods. Please use a modern mod manager for the best modding experience.

God why? NMM is very simple and I can install the mods that I have saved on the disk. Is the reason for the blockade that Mr. Pickysaurus is paid by Vortex to eliminate the competition? So we worked it out...

You do realize that both NMM and Vortex were made by the same site don't you? Vortex replaced NMM a long time ago.

It wasn't "competition" is was old vs new.

There's a community version of NMM if you still want to use it, but it is not officially supported by us.

  7. To be perfectly honest I'd prefer if that sidebar list went back to most recent topics posted like it was on the old forum setup.

Having it as  "Popular Game Communities" seems like wasted real estate to me since most people looking on the forums already know what and where they intend to post/view.

but if the message is fine (say on a mod page) and you just see an inappropriate user name you're not going to report the message.  I'll end up with a warning for false reporting.  there used to be a way to report a user name

For now, regarding offensive usernames/avatars/etc - reporting a message they've posted/sent is fine, as long as you make it clear in the report that it is the other detail you are actually reporting.

Doesn't have to be something long winded, just point out what the issue with the users detail is and leave it at that. We'll handle it. If you're still unsure about reporting them - then just drop a message to a member of staff detailing the problem and if you can, a link to their profile would be helpful (just to speed things up in confirmation and reaction to the matter).
