[New guy here in need of experienced people]

So this is the first time I have ever decided to try to mod a game and I was hoping someone could either send me some tips and tricks about modding for the first time or offer m a link to a guide, a modern one hopefully, all the ones I find are at least 5 years old. I am trying to mod fallout new vegas and anyone who has experience in that would be greatly appreciated.

[Can A Dial Mouse be used in the CK?]

Hello citizens of The Nexus (Nexusians? Nextonians?)

 

I am wondering if anyone has experience in using a dial mouse in the creation kit. Specifically looking for the functionality to rotate and place objects in the Render Window of the CK. I am looking to get one if so. I doubt the SolidWorks or specific CAD software mice will work.

 

But I am thinking about grabbing something like one of the following.

 

Surface Dial

 

Dell Canvas Dial

 

Or any that others might recommend.

 

I have no experience with using one, so maybe its a dumb question to ask if it will work (maybe it will by its very nature?!). But I figured if these work, there has got to be other modders here using it.
