  1. it didn't work, I've exported the level, it showed up inside the "...BioWare\Dragon Age\modules\Single Player\override\toolsetexport" started a new game just to be sure there is no save file, it didn't show up in game. the human noble start. in that folder I have "bhn01al_castle_cousland.lst" and "bhn100ar_castle_cousland.are" i've just added a couple of statues near the walls, nothing else
  2. Ok, Thank You, I will try this, will let you know if it worked, but another thing i don't get, so playing the last couple of hours with this I've found out that I can't modify the actual level geometry, the walls and the like. those appears to be behind a lvl file, that i don't know where it is. So in the editor I'm opening an area file or something, which has audio and the rest. But then it appears there is this lvl file which has the geometry, walls and that stuff, that I was not able to find where it is.
  3. anyone has any idea how to edit the game files. like i want to edit a level and add stuff in it like a statue or something i've managed to open a level that i can edit and save(maybe?) is green at the top, it says I can save it. i can add furniture and other stuff like that. I've saving this level, but in game there is no change, it doesn't show up. maybe there is some youtube video or something that show how one can do this
  4. I've read on reddit that it appears Nexus support the recent valve selling mods move. Is this true?
  5. an archive is a collection of compressed files. the idea is to save space and have lots of files in one place. there are many type of archives, like for example zip archive or rar archive. You need a program to open an archive, exception being the zip file that can be open in windows natively. You can try these programs http://www.rarlab.com or http://www.7-zip.org/ . this one is free.
  6. well it worked. :D thank you very much! It still happens, but less frequently and usually after a few seconds the frame rate is back to normal. Rarely I need to ALT+TAB to desktop. I'm happy like this. :)
  7. Thank you for the answer. I disabled vsync. I get the same result. :(
  8. Hi, this is my first post on this forum, so for start, hello everybody! Now, I have a problem with Oblivion. Let me explain. So I have a vanilla install of Oblivion, no mods, anything. Computer is win7, video card is nvidia. Game play fine, on maximum settings, but at some point after I open the journal (TAB), most of the time the map, and then close it, the frame rate of the game drops to 8 - 10 frames (I used the console to view the frame rate). The frame remains stable on 8-10fps. If you open the journal, the problem disappears, only to come back if you close it, and return to game. This happens randomly, not always, but sooner or later the problem appear. I need then to exit the game and restart it to fix it. I found a quick fix for this, I just open the main menu (ESCAPE) then ALT+TAB to windows. (you need something open, like a folder or a browser, so windows can let you switch between programs) Then you can return to Oblivion and exit the menu, and then the frame rate is unlocked. Till, next time it happens. Anyway, is annoying, I searched on the net but can't find anything about this. Anyone has an idea what could it be? Thanks for you help. :)
