I thought Tiber Septim was a Nord, who started the Empire. Wasn't his pre-Imperial name Hjalti Early-Beard? He could use the voice, which would make him a Nord. 1. His name was Talos of Atmora and the only people who came from Atmora were Atmorans/Nords, so i'm pretty sure he was a Nord. 2. During the war he was known as General Talos. He had to change his name to Tiber Septim to appease the fancy Imperials. An innkeeper in Skyrim said that Tiber Septim had many names and Hjalti Early-Beard MIGHT have been one of them. 3. The Dragonborn's Voice was a blessing from Akatosh (The God of Time). He/She/Shglee saw who would be in the right place at the right time and gave them the means to succeed. do you really think that Akatosh (the almighty dragon god who exists both outside and IS time itself) cares whether the dragonborn is Nordic or Khajiiti or Orsimer?
