    1) When creating a quest script, one must select the "Quest" type from the script drop down box in the upper right of the scripting window.

    2) Quest scripts don't run until the quest is started. Therefore, if you want your quest variable available in other scripts right away, make sure you check the "Start Game Enabled" box on the Quest data page. If your quests starts later in the game, just remember that any quest script and quest variables won't exist, and can't be used, until then.

  2. Actually, you can adjust just when and how you receive notifications - and it has little to do with being quoted or not.

     

    At the top of this and every forum page, you can click on your profile name and select "My Settings".

    Then on the left side of the Setting page, under the Heading "Profile Settings", choose "Notification Options".

     

    From here, you can chose to only be notified when someone quotes you... but you can also chose to:

    Auto follow topics I reply to. Notification frequency: Immeadiate

     

    And you can also select:

    Notification method to use for replies to followed topics

     

    All this requires is that once you start a thread/topic, just follow it and you'll be notified when anyone replies.

    Simplest way, especially if you don't want to do anything if it's not the player, is to specify a reference at the point of entering the trigger zone.

     

    Begin OnTriggerEnter Player

     

    That will only carry on further if the Player is the one entering the Trigger.

     

    Note that another reference can be used, not just the Player, depending on your needs.

  4. I have been working on a mod that adds a private vault. A private vault would be a vault made by Vault-Tec for wealthy individuals. It would feature, completed, 8 NPCs, 16 Quests, a new vault and an epic final quest in which you would live October 23th 2077. I have for now completed:

     

    - The Vault's entrance, it's living quarters and its kitchen.

    - A single NPC and his dialogue.

    -The idea of 7 other NPCs

    -75% of the first quest (includes a chinese spy's house and extensive scripting)

     

    Now, the problem. I have bought Skyrim and am hardly keeping myself from abandoning modding fallout to mod Skyrim. If a sufficient number of people show its interest and, maybe, find myself an helping hand, I could assemble the motivation necessary to complete the mod.

I had a problem with these rocks floating when changing the heights of the land so this could be partially related, have you got this in your .ini? http://www.creationkit.com/Floating_Grass_Fix theres also one for rocks but im not sure if it will fix this void problem, have you tried reloading the cell by pressing F5 as well?

    Thanks a lot for your help. The problem had fixed itself this evening somehow. It is strange as I had reloaded (closed and reopened) the creation kit multiple times. I really appreciate your helping hand.
