I used to hex edit unlock able items in offline modes. I got into the ini files in oblivion searching for hidden content in vanilla. I ended up deleting the commercials and found a secret folded note not available on console editions. I love cleaning up shacks using console commands. In fact I leave most of the downloadable content unchecked when I do a play through.
