So I've never used console commands in a game and I never intended to, but I love having Charon around and he has the tendency to die when pitted against tougher opponents. So I wanted to set him to "essential". after research I read that I should click on him once the console is open and type: setessential ####### 1 but nothing seems to work. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Well the title sort of explains itself, is there a Herbert Dashwood mod? If not, there should be that'd be awesome!

So yeah, Hi guys. Call me Jellybones. You can call me Jelly if you want. Okay, so I'm new to this forum as well as the PC version of Fallout 3. I owned it for 360 and beat it a few times. Now that years have passed, I have been introduced to the glories of PC gaming. Not only are the communities much more sophisticated, I'm cashing in on the kick ass deals on steam (i.e. Fallout 3 GOTY for $5). So I'm pretty bad with mods (my computer isn't really good enough and I lack the knowledge), but I'm trying to get into it which is really confusing! Let's see...um, I've only previously used one forum before and it was years ago and to be honest I am posting on this forum to reach out to the fallout community for any help I may need, but I was thinking it might be fun to get involved in another forum and just meeting(kinda) some new people! I'll try to return the favor for any help in any way by sharing the knowledge, but I don't know a lot (sorry!) So yeah, in a nutshell that's me, Jelllybones. I have a stupid question involving console commands, but I won't sully this introduction by asking it. I'll ask later and elsewhere. Any way NICE TO MEET 'CHA!
