I would like to make one that would slightly alter the ending (changing cutscences, music, adding/removing scenes, etc.) Is there specific software I should use? Or is it entirely based on finding and changing lines of code in configuration files? There are some really fantastic mods on this forum, and I would love to know what everyone is using to make their work.

Hi everyone, TL;DR: - Doing season unending, going to talk to both leaders. I cannot talk to Tulius to get option to get him to the peace summit. - Ididn't joined any side, already got Ulfic to go to peace summit. - By wiki suggestion, i used console resetquest cw01a, which kill/reset my joining legion quest. - Finished main story, now i want join legion, but cannot use setstage cw01a xxx. the quest stage keeps staying at 0 Sry if this is kinda a lengthy description of my problem, I summarized everything above, but this problem been really bothering me and I'd really appreciate it if anyone could help. I play on the pc and this may be a problem that started from a console command. So I was going through the part of the main quest where we had to speak to both General Tullius and Ulfric to agree to the peace treaty. During this time I remained neutral to the war but had done both joining quests up to the point that I had to swear the oath. When I went to talk to Tullius however, he would keep wanting me to take the oath and the game wouldn't give me the option to talk about the treaty. I ended up using the 'resetquest ' command, and as a result the 'joining legion' quest was completely erased from my journal. This allowed me to continue on with the main story, but now that I have finished the main story and I want to go back to playing the war, I am having trouble start the quest up again. Checking the 'player.sqs' for the quest, the 'setstage' and 'setobjectivecompleted' commands do not seem to do anything. It's like after I reset all the quest stages to '0' with the 'resetquest' command, I can't seem to change anything anymore. II tried just skipping past the quest with 'completequest' command, but then my game gets really buggy as I keep progressing through the war questline. It'll keep switching me to Ulfric's side (for instance when Tullius gives me the message to give to Jarl Whiterun for some reason I receive Ulfric's War Axe instead. And instead of 'reunification of skyrim' i get 'liberation of skyrim'). Sry again about describing so much, but I've just been trying everything. Thanks anyone who reads this and I'd appreciate any help!
