Please, try not to beat around the bush in attempt to inject the wrong idea of this petition, friend. It's quite obvious that any modder should take responsibility in tagging their material correctly. But I will answer your example since you decided to question without actually think about how simple the answer would be. Any weapon/armor mod, or tweak given to weapons and armor already in skyrim, that are either made based off other games outside the ES games, or increasing armor rating value to an obsurd and godly number, to increasing the damage of a weapons beyond it's original value, and to add enchants that make a weapon or armor seem like It has been made from the power of something higher then a devine, would indeed make any material NON-LORE. To re-create a weapon or armor from prior ES games, only not to give them their original stats, makes it non-lore. But, to re-create weapons and armor, based off any prior ES games, and give it's original stats (the exact replica) plus allowing it to be upgradeable due to Skyrim's new smithing feature, makes it Lore friendly. Your lore, my lore, or anyones lore, that is not the games lore, is exactly what it is -- not the games lore. The idea to make searching easier on people to find what they want in a website doesn't make it folly. The idea can only be as folly as the people who speak out before they think about what they're saying. Sure -- But it unfortunately isn't the ES Lore. Quite a close-minded remark, no offense. The following petition is the idea to finding what you want by narrowing down the type by choice, just like the filters. The only difference is that it would start with Lore and Non-Lore as the two catagories, and within them, the subcatagories would be found (Filters then would behave more appropriately) The purpose of this petition is not to segregate the community into a permanent choice. If you choose lore related work, that does not lock the non-lore related work away from you. True. But, not entirely. I personally don't see an issue with Nudity in the ES series. It's more of how it's used in the ES series that would make it more non-lore. For instance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Brfkpt_d2o8 And any of the links to the side of that video, I would consider that non-lore. ----- Thanks everyone for the feedback. I expect more.
