Sorry, I got caught up at work. Let me see if I can clarify my issues a little better.. I've placed the farmhouse exterior on the path of Riverwood, directly outside of the entrance by the blacksmith shop. I use "coc Riverwood" at the games main screen to instantly load a "fresh" character into Riverwood so no mod will, hopefully, conflict. I've named it TestThornwood.esp and it's in the correct folder that CK put it into automatically, and Loot recognized it. Using "coc thornwood" does not work either, for the interior, and that is what I have named the cell itself(Not the part inside the edit, where you change the door name/ownership). I'll have to take a look at the other tutorials..Maybe they'll help me out.
