cause the whole "i chose a username" thing wore off on me the account creation dialogue was poorly worded back then, probably still is, so i memed it and now i'm the memed one

let me change my username please

listen, i was asked to choose a username. but not set one. all i'm asking is to set the username i chose. this doesn't have to be a 5 year process

so 5 years ago, the site prompted me to think of a username. i told it i was done choosing a username but i haven't had any prompts to set it in the 5 years following. can anyone help me with this issue please?
