Well that's the only way how to get it onto steam unfortunatly Bethesda never really did anything to support the retail version of the game which really sucks if we're honest, if there is a way on doing this then it wouldn't be using the client it would be moving the fallout folder into steam apps and adding it into steam through an INI file that steam uses to recognise steam games. You'd have to research more into it because I'm not sure exactly where the INI file is and what you'd have to put in it. I wished I could help

Okay you boot up steam, in the top left you have steam, view, friends, games, help. You need to go into games and press add a non-steam game then it will search for all retail games on your PC :)

There is a way how to rotate the head at the beginning of the game or when you get a hair cut ect. If I remember correctly then all you have to do is click on your characters face and drag, or at least I think that's how to do it, it has been a while since I made a new game

3.esp? Open that up in GECK and look for the dog in the NPC characters bit.

It'll just be a bug that's occurring in the in the console. Doesn't sound like anything too serious you may as well just ignore it

Fallout is based in 2077 so that's over 100 years of developing from this 1960s technology so yeah it will seem quite advanced but you need to go for the 60s look things like take notice in the detail on environment, how megatron is built, the interiors In buildings, even the state on standard weapons except energy weapons, they're all improvements of 60's weapons ignore anyother mod I'm on about the base game theme it's took a very 60's appeal to it.

Right I've been tought things about the fallout engine by a developer of the game and really your problem is either in your save data (somewhere probably where you've had radiation poisoning, or obtained alot of rads from earlier in the game) or there is another mod that is causing this. You need someone to take a look in your save file, someone who knows what their doing not some monkey that thinks he knows (don't ask me I don't know how it's coded in the saves) I could ask someone if they'd be willing to help you but I don't know if they will. All I'm saying is its either a mod causing this or your save.

Seen as fallout is based of a post nuclear war from the 1960, so your looking at technology from around that time but the technology will be a little more advanced than the 1960's technology. But if I had to tell you a game with similar technology, as much as I hate to say this I would say black ops 1 because that is based in the 60's so if your planning on making a weapons pack you know what sort of weapons to be looking at

If your having bugs like that then it's all in the save. The bug you have will be embedded in your save game file

-Run admin -make sure G4WL is disabled -If you have pre installed mods uninstall them, they might be conflicting Do you get any specific error messages or is it just a crash on a black screen?

and also I get this error message and a lot of other error messages similar to this messages when trying to access the lamplight caverns interior, could this be the cause and will I have to reinstall fallout 3 to fix? my pc specs are - 4gb ram - 512mb ATI Radeon 4200 Graphics card (not 256mb model) - AMD Athlon™ II Dual-Core processor M320 (2.1GHz, 1024kb L2 cache) if its anything to do with my specs let me know please

I tried that link and It wouldn't start the download and the problem I have is this door. when ever I press E on it, it just makes a noise and does absolutely nothing no loading screen or anything just lets me carryon in wasteland -.- even the people I rescued cant access it

I have same problem not got a clue whats wrong with it I also had a bug with trinity lane (that's fixed now) and now to top it all off I cant enter the door to go to Little Lamplight haha... -.-

Hey I need help, I was just getting into fallout 3 story and I rescued those kids from paradise falls and now I can't get into Little Lamplight caverns the door entrance just seems to do nothing when I press E on it and the kids that I saved are just standing outside the door doing nothing. I turn off all mods and plugins (including all normal DLC) and still have the same problem. can anyone help at all?
