  1. I noticed a problem with it breaking the golden claw quest for me at least. Haven't pinned down the conflict yet, but the main quest works fine. Just add golden claw to inventory then you can open the door to the dragonstone.
  2. Thief - Start in the ratway (if possible with the thieves guild quest set to the first actual one of clearing it Hunter - either at hunter's rest? ( i forget the actual name) or a random shack in the woods/river bank Vigilant of Stendarr as above Immigrant - solitude docks - start with no money or maybe a lot of money it would depend on if you would add others options such as rich, poor, noble etc. Bard - any random inn (the mare for simplicity of being in whiterun? probably the most useful, though the winking skeever does have the best name...) given a flute and a few gold Vampire - start with vampirism, i dont remember where they are found naturally i cant think of anymore
  3. ^ Poll in case you don't feel the need to respond. I'm working on a quest based on a series of notes providing clues, nothing that will change do any serious changing to the game (any items you happen to find along the way are vanilla based - preventing conflicts) However, I feel that it would be better if it didn't have a journal entry for two reasons: 1. It's based on notes, so those would technically (and RP wise) serve as a journal (also i may or may not be lazy about writing in quest logs :P ) 2. It removes clutter from the quest screen and removes any potential from the quest accidentally placing a marker anywhere Just figured I'd get the opinions of the Nexus, it's a first Mod, and i'm sure I'll update and edit it even after it's finished but this is something to get out of the way before its released.
  4. Is it possible to delete scripts from the script manager? There's empty scripts inside of it that I no longer have after removing, however, it won't run the new scripts because it believes it is using the same names and scripts already associated with them edit again - solved it. if anyone else has a problem with a removed script messing up new ones or rewritten ones, go to the scripts folder, delete the scripts and delete the sources
  5. While working on a short-medium quest mod (that involves using notes with no map markers :O morrowind style) I felt like using a dragon lair as a location....because it rhymed. Anyway, does anyone know what mound = what cell ID? I'm currently trying to match them through looking top down at each dragon lair cell in comparison to pictures of the actual lairs. edit - manages to identify Lair 10 as eldersblood peak (i believe) based off a picture from the nexus and the position of the wall. Check for yourself for verification, ill post others if i find them
  6. there was a mod for this that casts a thirty day calm spell on the opponent if they enter bleedout, i think the author also made another version that made it fear instead so that they would run in terror from your might. idk if that would hold you over until someone makes a mod like you proposed
  7. This would be excellent! I wish they just added deadly reflex into Skyrim so that I could chop people in half and roll around like a ninja haha
  8. Here would be my top two real surprises: 1. Continuation of the Thalmor conflcit after the civil war (i mean really it was like four quests and bam unified skyrim...except for the "hidden" camps) I mean that would be a nice new quest if it was free, maybe option to side with and get a lot of (useless) gold or something cool or side against and push the thalmor out of skyrim and inspire the empire/cause more provinces to break off. 2. New lands that use the areas of cyrodil and morrowind (i mean, those gates are so tempting) or if they felt insanely awesome and generous they'd add the continent of akavir into the game haha of course, i'm worried if they provide new textures, they won't be as good as some of the modded ones already out in any case, id be happy if they added in new bard songs despite me only listening to ragnar the red
  9. I personally think that the "surprise" will be horse armor. To relive the glory days of DLC :P
