  1. Hi all, I'll get straight into it. I am currently creating a New Lands mod and have run into a bit of difficulty. I need some shop/inn signs made and, after trying by myself, realised I am utterly useless at artwork. So therefore I am asking if there is anyone who would be willing to help me out with this project and make the signs for me. I'll obviously include your name in the credits for making the signs. Now, I'll get into what I need doing. There are 7 signs that I need making, each with their own custom artwork. It is very important to me that they alongside the original vanilla "feel", of signs already present in the game; for Inn signs they are usually a picture logo with the name written either above or below the sign, whereas for generic merchant signs they are usually just a single picture related to the shop type. However, no pre-made ones exist for me to use. The ones I would like making are as follows: Spell Merchant Sign: I'm not too fussed about what you decide to include on this, just something related to Magic or something - be creative! It will be used as a generic spell merchant sign for use in all the towns in my modFood Vendor Sign: Again, just a generic food merchant sign that I will use in all the towns in my mod. Maybe just have a plate with cutlery around it or something - I'm not too sure, this ones also up to you.Swift Arrow Sign: A slightly more stylised one, I'd like it to be clear that its a fletching shop; maybe include a bow and arrow or something, but keep it in style with the other generic merchant signs - so just have the picture and no text.Lundene Fletcher Sign: This is another sign for a fletching shop, but this time in the town of Lundene. I would like it to be different to the Swift Arrow shop sign, but if you can't think of another picture to use then I won't be too bothered. Again don't include text or anything on the sign, just the picture.Dragon Mead Inn Sign: This is an Inn sign, so would consist of a picture along with the words "Dragon Mead Inn". I imagined the picture to be a beer tankard with flames around it/coming from behind the tankard. Something like that, if thats too difficult feel free to edit it slightly. Text can go wherever. EDIT: If that is all too difficult, maybe have a beer tankard with a red dragons tail coming out from behind/the sideCrossed Swords Inn Sign: Another Inn sign, so a picture with "Crossed Swords Inn". For this one I'd like the picture to be crossed swords with a beer in the middle. Fairly similar to the ragged flagon inn sign, but with swords instead of daggers and I'd quite like them to be the other way up, so the blades are pointing upwards. Text can go wherever, but preferably in a different place to the others.Drunken Archer Inn Sign: The final Inn sign, again a picture with "Drunken Archer Inn". This time I'd like a beer tankard with an arrow sticking out of the side, as if it has been shot into the tankard. As with the others, I dont mind where the text goes, as long as its not the same for all of them.Thats it! For the Inn signs it would be great if you could use the vanilla beer artwork. I would say the best ones to pull them from are the ragged flagon sign, the black-briar meadery or dead mans drink. But if you would rather do your own beers, as long as they fit into the same style its fine. For the actual signs I recommend using this modders resource. It contains the meshes of a blank sign. Only one side needs to be completed with the relevant artwork. I also recommend using this font. It's the font they use in vanilla signs, so would work well. EDIT: It would be great if as well as this someone could create some roadsigns for me - again I tried making these but sucked hard. There are only a few I need doing, but there needs to be a left-facing and a right-facing sign of each. They are as follows: Florin Sign: A city roadsign saying "Florin"Lundene Sign: A town roadsign saying "Lundene"Alverton Sign: A town roadsign saying "Alverton"Shrine Sign: A town roadsign saying "Shrine"As with the shop signs, use the vanilla font I provided above, but as for the blank roadsign meshes I'd recommend getting them from this modders resource. It contains blank left and right signs, and I would suggest using the "Medium" size. Thanks for reading, just so you know I'm also posting this on a few other forums, to hopefully get a reply. It would be great if you could make these for me, I'd really appreciate the help! Thanks, Will

  3. Hi all, so I'm trying to create a few new enchantments as part of my mod, but I've ran into a bit of trouble. I'm trying to create enchantments that affect the speed of attacks - one that affects bows and another that affects weapon swing speed. I can made the enchantments using the "WeaponSpeedMult" item and setting it to only apply when using a "WeapTypeBow" or whatever, and it seems to work except for one thing. When creating the enchantment the magnitude needs to be given as a decimal, such as 1.25 for 25% faster, due to it being a multiplier. Therefore when I put in the description: "Draw your bow <mag>% faster", it doesnt work, because mag isnt the actual percent, rather its a decimal. In-game it rounds anyway down to 1 so the information is useless, its not like I can even put it as "Draw your bow <mag> times faster.". Basically what I'm asking is if theres a way to change this so you can maybe do a calculation in the description, such as (mag - 1) * 100, to get it to a percentage? Or is there any way I can do this differently or something in order to get it to read off as a percentage. Thanks in advance
  4. Ah thats annoying, because I've made a mod and don't want to close down my account. No worries though, thanks for replying guys
  5. Hi, I was wondering if there was any way for me to change my username somehow? Thanks :)
  6. Hey, I've created this mine as part of a New Lands Mod that I am currently working on. I have made a few other dungeons and none seem to have this issue. Now in my mine there is a gate, almost splitting it in half. Before this gate are some ghost miners, and after it there are some draugr and necromancers at the very end of the mine. Now for some reason, as soon as I enter the mine every single ghost miner detects me, charges towards me and attacks me, despite being a good distance away and round lots of corners. After I pass the gate, every single draugr and necromancer suddenly also detects me and starts to attack me, even the enemies at the very end of the mine. My mine is actually quite big, around the size of those already found in Skyrim, and I have no idea how all of the enemies are able to detect me right from the start when they are at the end. The enemies are all either vanilla NPC's (the draugr) or literally duplicated from vanilla NPC's (the miners and necromancers) so I really dont know how they have such a huge detection ability and can detect me right from the start. As you can tell this is really annoying me! I know its not a certain mod I have installed as no other dungeon does this, and neither do the other ones I have created. My mine is fully and properly optimized with different rooms and portals between them. Before I added this, the draugr and necromancers were able to detect me even before I opened the gate, so at least there has been a tiny bit of improvement. It is also properly and fully navmeshed. Im asking if anyone knows why this is happening or how to fix it. I also dont know if this is just a problem with my PC or game, or if it would happen to others if my mod was shared. If you need any more information please ask
  7. Bump this has been up for a while with no more replies :(
  8. Yeah, I knew about the inheritence note, but I want to have the actual name change. And by the blade gift bug/error I meant that they shouldnt really say that you should take their sword as a gift, as you already have it. Thanks anyway!
  9. Hmm, thanks, I thought it would be about those types of programs, but unfortunately I pretty much dont have any knowledge on them :/ Thanks anyway!
  10. Hey, I've been wondering if there is a mod that deals with some of the bugs of the Civil War in Skyrim. Now, I know there are loads of civil war mods and civil war overhauls to use, but, as far as I know, none of them actually fix the bugs with the endings of both sides of the civil war. For example, the most easily noticeable bugs are: - Brunwulf free-winter does not get his name changed to Jarl after siding with the Empire and defeating Ulfric. - After the siege of Windhelm there is a piece of permanent rubble in the grey quarter. It can be walked through without any trouble, and will never go away. It is placed directly where the guard stands post, on the other side of the wall next to the blacksmith. - When deciding that you should be the one to kill Ulfric/General Tullius then either Ulfric or General Tullius will give you their weapon to kill the opposing leader with. After you are given their weapon and have killed the opposing leader, then, as a reward, Ulfric/General Tullius will say that you should take their blade. However, no weapon is given, because you have already received their weapon to kill the opposing leader with. There isn't loads, but these bugs stand out quite a bit, and it would be helpful if they were fixed in any way. Does anybody know of a mod which fixes these bugs? Thanks! :)
  11. Hey, I've been wondering how you create a custom loading screen model. I've seen it done in a few mods before but I cant seem to find anything at all explaining how it is done. I know how to change the models for a load screen, but what I want to know is how to actually create your own model for a custom load screen. Does anyone have any idea of how this is done? Thanks! :)
  12. Sorry for keeping bumping but I need help with this :/
  13. Ah, the only one that is fixed is the Heimskr bug, and thats done with the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. I'll remove it from the list. :D
  14. Try re-enabling the mod, then equipping the armour again. This should add the proper bonus' back to your character. Then, with the mod enabled, un-equip the armour. This should then remove the bonus' to your character. Then you can disable the mod and it should work. If I were you I would NEVER disable a mod whilst it is currently having an effect in game, for example if you are wearing the armour.
  15. Again sorry bump but I would really like help with this.

  19. Hey, I've been trying to place a dead body into the game and have come up with an error. I've been putting in a normal actor and then selecting the "Start Dead" option when editing it in the render window. This has worked fine except for one thing: All of my spawned bodies have their backs arched alarmingly, they are not lying down. I've got a picture so you can see what it looks like: http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/332/mfd1.jpg And as you can see it looks strange when all of my spawned bodies are doing it: http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/169/xhd5.jpg So what I'm asking is if someone knows how to fix this, I've tried rotating the bodies with the "W" Hotkey, but that doesn't seem to work, as they cannot rotate. Does anybody know the fix for this? Thanks, Will
