  1. Does anyone know of a mod that works with RaceMenu and replaces some of the character creation sliders with galleries or menus? What I mean is, rather than selecting your hair style by scrolling through a linear slider, you would be presented with previews of each hairstyle arranged in a grid—like what's shown in this image—possibly with some sort of tabs or filtering system, to help break down larger lists, or a way to tag some items as favorites. I'm particularly interested in replacing the hairstyle and eye color sliders, since those lists tend to get very long—the last revision of Immersive and Epic had over 1000 hairstyles—and a grid of thumbnails would be a lot easier to sort through. I could have sworn there was a mod like this, but the last time I played was years ago and I haven't been able to figure out which mod it was or if it would even be compatible with RaceMenu, so I'd appreciate any help in this matter.
  2. Yes they did. In fact that's the set I have installed, despite what I said. Thanks for pointing that out though. Also, a clean install seems to have brought me back up to 60 FPS and, fun fact, I did not have to re-download my NMM mods, just re-install them.http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/dance.gif
  3. Yeah, seeing as the only mods I have on are SKSE, Dragon Script, Bethesda's Hi-res pack and Elys I'll re-install it. Thank you for your help.
  4. Right, with out enb it jumps to 40 fps. That's certainly playable, but it still seems low, especially with v-sync off. Two questions about uninstalling: Will I have to redownload or somehow backup the mods I have in NMM? And is there a preferred method for uninstalling or is telling steam to remove local content sufficient?
  5. I don't know what it was before hand (I never had a reason to check), but I'm assuming it was better. I do have Bethesda's HighRes Textures, but weather or not they're on doesn't seem to affect much. At least I'm not the only on who find this odd .
  6. Unless they've come out with new drivers in the last week my drivers should be the latest set. as for the settings: aspect ratio: 16:9 Resolution: 1600x900 antialiasing: 4 Samples Anisotropic Filters: Off Full Screen Texture Quality: High Radial Blur Quality: High Shadow Detail: Ultra Decal Quantity: Ultra FXAA off All water options on. All View Distance settings maxed Object Detail Fade off ----- ini tweak ----- Stuff from S.T.E.P. (I can list it if you'd like, but it's a lot) DoF (should be) Disabled, but I can't find the actual command for some reason. iPresentInterval=0
  7. Ello all. I recently went through the S.T.E.P. guide for Skyrim and then added a few mods of my own choosing. Unfortunately when I went to go play the game I found my self experiencing input lag, which I eventually realized was the result of an extremely low FPS (~10-20). Figuring this was due to a mod I disabled all of the mods except TV enb (which I'm using to get the FPS), SKSE and Dragon Script, but that doesn't seem to have changed much. Even with V-sync off I'm only getting 20 FPS, which is odd because I'm reasonable certain my computer has fairly good specs, as listed below: Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.120330-1504) System Manufacturer: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. System Model: G74Sx BIOS: BIOS Date: 04/27/11 14:06:47 Ver: 04.06.03 Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.0GHz Memory: 8192MB RAM Available OS Memory: 8170MB RAM Page File: 4417MB used, 11919MB available DirectX Version: DirectX 11DX Setup Parameters: Not found --------------- Display Devices --------------- Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M Display Memory: 4047 MB Dedicated Memory: 1999 MB Shared Memory: 2048 MB Driver Version: 8.17.13.142 Does anyone have any ideas about what might be wrong or how I can fix it? If there's any other information you need please feel free to ask me.
  8. If that means what I think it does, I can't help but feel it would badly mess up how armor fits.
  9. If your offering, I could use some help figuring out how to efficiently create combo spells (so, spell x duel cast with spell y creates new spell z) and then keep track of how many times a spell has been cast an improve it based on that number.
  10. I'll definitely be starting with the spells before everything else and I rather like the idea of calm and frenzy combining to create paralysis. That said, I don't really want the new spells to be variations on colored lights, so I don't think to many spells will be that simple. Given all the vendor trash in oblivion, I don't think materials will be a problem. Off the top of my head there's linen, soul-gem fragments, leather, leather strips, gems and metals.
  11. If you wouldn't mind working with someone who's newer, I'm planning a mod and could use some help in the visuals department. The mods mainly going to be based on new spells that are unlocked through dual casting, but I'm also planning on adding some new types of armor. Since I intend for the new spells to be significantly more complicated than balls of colored light I'd be grateful for assistance on either part. That said, I would like to see what your capable of first.
  12. Right, almost since day one I was thinking of making a mod centered around duel casting different spells to create altogether new spells. Unfortunately, now that the creation kit is out, Bethesda is talking about maybe doing a similar dlc. So I'm wondering if it would still be worth while to make my mod. Let me give you a few more details and then you guys can tell me what bits you like (if any). Cast two spells to create a new spell based on semi-predictable rules (for example ice and fire always result in earth, lightning + fire = plasma and lightning + ice = force).Learn a new spell as a normal spell after duel casting it enough times.Create a new perk tree based for combo spells (If you have a suggestion for which trees to combine to make the space I'm all ears, lock picking + pickpocket seem popular, so choosing something else might be a good idea).Individual spells get better as you cast them more (if you've played Tales of Vesperia I was hoping to do something similar to that, instead of using simple numerical increases).Slotted gloves and tokens that allow you to modify spells cast from the corresponding hand.New "Armors" that don't actually add to armor (so they'll work with magic armor) but give other benefits (like spell resistance or increased carry capacity) without being enchanted (This is mainly to give pure mages a reason to use smithing).A quest line to tie all that together; with possible sequels if it's popular enough.I'd be happy to answer any questions on this or go into greater detail if something interests people and any thoughts on my plans would be greatly appreciated.
  13. Ok so add talent works on party members too? that should work then.
  14. When I was doing the circle of mages quest I miss read a dialog option with Wynn and she went ballistic. I felt that was slightly unfair and added her back with a console command. The problem is she only has three talents and I'm not entirely sure if she has the proper stats (she's level 11 and registers as such). So far the only way I've found to fix this is to use the levelparty command but that messes with my entire party in ways I don't want it to. Can any one think of a less drastic method of fixing/replacing her (I really need a healer). thank you
