  1. First thing you might want to do is make a back up, I have never used NMM, so I have no Idea if you are able to do that. Next install LOOT, BOSS, or Wyre Bash, and check the load order, run the game if that does not work, check mods loaded below live another life, it may be down there. If that does not work, try reinstalling Live Another Life, the NMM update may have corrupted it. If that does not work, it could be that the way that the High Res Texture packs have a new glitch, try testing this by deactivating them and then running the game if that does not work (which it probably won't), it could be the nature of the NMM, in which (since it directly affects the data folder) you may need to clean out you data directory, and use either a smaller amount of mods, or use mod organizer, or a tool simular to it which will keep you're mods seperate, although it is an advanced tool and new problems come with the most recent update.
  2. you won't find a mod that completely rids the system of base ratings, but you could try one of the major overhaul like requiem, SkyRe, ACE, or possibly Perkus Maximus, although they all just decrease the base rating of the weapon, and make skills come into play a lot more, I don't know of any mods that completely remove the base damage, and I don't think they can, as skyrims engine doesn't work that way, I am pretty sure that it uses the base damage and a multiplier based on skills and perks. Hope I could be of some help. If you want a balanced armor and or weapons mod, I would recommend immersive weapons and immersive armors, they look really good as well.
  3. Run a google search of skyrim night sky mod, and you will get at least three really popular and pretty good quality mods, and if you want to see all possible ones, search in the nexus by the description, like stars or night sky, I personally like horizon of dreams.
  4. It seems to be a new problem with the mod organizer 1.3.6 that a rather large amount of people are encountering (according to tannin.eu/tbg), resulting in java extensions not working. I checked all the recommended fixes that I found online or from logic. I tried reinstalling Java and Mod organizer, then I also tried using different java.exe's (javaw.exe, javaws.exe, etc.) I checked, and windows defender is off (I prefer to let norton handle it) and I made sure norton was not interfering, I'm running it as admin, but whenever I try to use a reproccer or reproccer like java extension, it will not work, instead giving me an overwrite file that is named hs_err_pid####.log with #'s representing a four digit serial number, telling me that it failed to write a core dump, and minidumps are disabled by defaul on client versions of windows. I am going to try messing around with the binary, but if you have any idea why this happens, please help. Update: Did not work, so I reset everything back to where it was before I tried messing with the binary
  5. I was playing through one of my profiles and I noticed that a randomly occuring problem will occur. Occasionally I will enter a location or enter combat and I hear a loud heart beat and a sound that sounds like blood dripping. When I try to attack an enemy, they will be temporarily unable to take damage, and I know this is not just a really strong enemy, because once it lets me deal damage, I am taking rather large chucks of their health. NPCs also glow green with some active effect whenever I enter a location, and I do not know if this is related, but random CTDs occur while adventuring with no apparent pattern. I think that these problems are being caused by AFT or Disparity, however I would like help tracking down the culprit.
  6. I know that there are several Alternate Start mods, Unbound and Live Another Life being the two of the most desired ones, and two that I will most likely have to choose between. A recent mod called Disparity, which is a class overhaul that I am definitely getting, and I wanted input from this community on the better mod to use with disparity. Just as a side note, in case it is relivant, I use mod organizer, and I do realize that unbound is temporarily shut down.
  7. For some odd reason my vanilla and only vanilla flame type destruction spells have a wierd variable, as in the white characters that change depending on your skill level and perks, they have b then the base damage of the spell as a constant and then /b, and the value that is numerical stays at 8 regardless of destruction skill level or perks, and the variables are a non-numerical constant, which (I'm assuming that this is working like any algebra) is being multiplied by a contant than divided by the variable, resulting in just the constant. I'm assuming that this is either a bug from one of my mods, or a mod conflict, although it may be an option in the skyui menu that is enabled and i'm having trouble finding. Second, whenever i try to use AFT's make follower tweak spell, it leads to "AFT Warning: Script Missing Parameter (Mod Conflict)" whenever I try to manage with AFT. Despite modding for a while now, I'm still a bit newbish when it comes to how skyrim's engine works scriptwise, so I'm sorry if this is a dumb mistake. I'm having issues with the picture manager on nexus so I'll just try replying to myself to attach them.
  8. My computer managed to bug when downloading from the nexus, is there one for the steam workshop?
