  1. 1) I'm not porting spells, I will be making a "gun" that shoots fire using "ammo" or in this case "eve/eve hypos" so the only thing I need is the animation for thrusting your hand out and fire spewing forth which is doable with the effects from flamethrower. Can also be done for cryolator effects for frost powers and lasers for laser powers, etc. 2)Porting is prohibited? Where does it say so on Nexus? I see plenty of ports of animations such as the dance animations from Skyrim being ported over, so I don't understand what you mean.
  2. Hello, just wanting to know how I can port the casting animation from Skyrim to Fallout 4? I have the Creation Kit for Fallout 4 but no other tools. I want to port the one-handed spell casting animation so I can make a weapons version of "plasmids" mods instead of them being grenades like other modders have done. Reasons for this are strictly preferential as I'm not a fan of using the grenades slot vice the weapons slot for it. Essentially the mod I want to create using this port would require alot of work and detail so I'm trying to take things in chunks at the moment and will work on each step little by little. I have attempted to get assistance with making my first mod before, same concept, however I received no responses or assistance. Please help in any way you can by pointing me to what I need, perhaps if you are feeling generous you could give guidance, direction, or even teaching, it would be most appreciated if you did. Anyway, here's to attempt number 2, thank you all in advance. P.S. I'm not against someone else making the mod if they like the idea, however I would prefer to do it myself.

Hello, I want to start working on making a mod that adds a few "weapons" to the game along with a quest to get it, unfortunately I do not have any modding experience and so I'm reaching out to find out what skills I need to acquire, the applications and tools I need to create it, as well as any advice and tutorials that can assist with my work. The Mod will be called F.E.V.E. (Forced Evolutionary Virus Enhanced), the idea is that someone in the Commonwealth has actually perfected the F.E.V. and dubbed it F.E.V.E. as it is a working product. The weapons will appear as your hand engulfed in an energy or element be it fire, frost, radioactive energy, etc. The quest would be you finding the guy that perfected the virus and assisting him with his final experiment, testing it. The player would be sent through a few trials and at the end get to keep the weapons he is testing. The ammunition would be new and added on the drop list, it would be called A.T.O.M. (Advanced Technical Ordnance Munition) and reload your weapon using the same animation as using a stimpack but with the stimpack being a different colour to suite the A.T.O.M. ammo. The Weapons will be the following: Breathe of Fire- Fire spews forth from your hands and engulfs your target in searing flames. It will deal damage over time as well as ignite the target on fire for a duration, essentially a flamethrower. Freezing Winds- A blizzard bursts forth from your fingertips and freezes your opponents. It will work the same as the cryo weapon in the game. Radioactive Force- Balls of radioactive energy form and shoot out from your hand. It will function like a radioactive explosive projectile. Possibly others if I can think of anything else. So far I have nothing else planned for this but if I get good enough to utilize the tools and advice you point me towards I hope to expand upon it and make it a good mod. Essentially what I need is tools and knowledge relative to custom animation creation, custom model creation, as well as creating quests and npcs, and finally creating special effects. Also, I apologize if this is the wrong forum for this thread I wasn't sure where to put it, but since its not a request for a mod as I'm wanting to make it myself and since this forum is for the creation kit and modders it seemed more fitting than the mod request forum.

Hi there, I've seen alot of mods that utilize magic in the form of grenades or magic in the form of a weapon with "mana" being the ammunition BUT without realistic animations for "casting" the spells, just using the base animation for firing a weapon of that type with the weapon being invisible so the animation is very...derpy...Anyway, I'd like to request the animation for casting a spell to be ported to Fallout 4 from Skyrim, since most if not all the destruction spells in skyrim utilize the same animation set there would only need to be one animation set for it, there would be no need for a gun model since the magic is coming from your own hand. If no one is interested in making the mod, I'll do it myself if someone would like to teach me how to port the animation set from skyrim and all the intricacies involved. Any questions, comments, or suggestions are welcome and I like to hear feedback and discuss. Thank you for your time.
  5. Update: I have created two separate tails for male and female versions of the Daemon race in order to properly adjust the tail to fight on the tailbone. Currently working on horns for male and female heads. Going to work on a custom head for the male and female model to have pointed ears. Utilizing 3ds Max to create custom skin textures for the race for both male and female, I'm new to the program so it will take me a while to complete. Will have to research tutorials on editing skin textures in skyrim. Anyone want to assist me with this, please step up, I greatly appreciate it.
  6. I would love help actually, The only things I have are the CK and Nifskope, where can I get Gimp and Nvidia dds plugin? (Not going to use Photoshop because it costs a bit from what I heard.) What is Blender and 3d max? Never heard of that... Tutorials online have been a blessing and a curse because its helpful but you never know what they are talking about and they sling technical terms around like crazy, lol.
  7. Update: Still no go on the SchlongsofSkyrim compatibility, working on it. Tails are fixed and working correctly. Adding horns. Still no idea on how to edit skin textures... Need to figure out how to give the human head model "elven ears". Using eyes from another mod that go well with demonic theme. This is very fun, frustrating because I have no help and am figuring this out on my own, but fun. Soon you will all be able to play as a Tailed Horny Devil Male or Female and seduce, destroy, chaos mayhem, etc. throughout the lands of Skyrim. And by soon I mean as soon as I figure this out on my own, because no one is helping me so far with figuring this stuff out. >_>
  8. That mod is a good idea, and NorthHare, I believe they wanted a choice between the two, otherwise you could never play het if you so chose or bisexual.
  9. Update: I fixed the body, it shows now, but since I use SchlongsOfSkyrim the crotch/male genitalia isn't showing and there is a gaping hole there. The tail is also coming straight out of the ass of the female and male models, need to figure out how to move them up and back so that they are attached by the tailbone. Still working on horns, but I think I can do that part myself. I need to figure out how to edit the texture of the male and female body to show scales around the tail region, on the face and neck, and other places on the body to give it a more demonic/draconic look. Also to change the colors to red, dark red, purple, dark purple, pink, and deep pink skin tones.
  10. Update: I have followed a tutorial and have added the tail, however the hands, feet, and torso are invisible. The head floats in the air with a tail. I am going back through and recreating a fresh plugin since my testing and tweaking may have been the cause to why they disappeared. I do not believe I should be utilizing the same SkinNaked Armor for this race as the SkinNaked Armor would change the other vanilla races to also have a dragon tail. Still experimenting on adding horns to the race, however I believe the same effect as before can be achieved for this (like with the tail). Currently looking for tools, applications, etc. that will allow me to edit the coloration of skin for the body, however I need to figure out if that will also change the body for the other races should I go down that path. Also looking for tools, applications, etc. to edit the color of the eyes to be more demonic though someone I spoke to said I have permission to utilize their mod eyes so long as I credit them, I may just go down that road for that particular problem as it is easier than reinventing the wheel. I have been taking pictures of the differences between the Vanilla "DEFAULT RACE SKINNAKED ARMOR" and the "Daemon Race SKINNAKED ARMOR", I noted that the Daemon Race excludes some things that may be important, seeing as the skinnaked armor is an exact duplicate I am uncertain how. When trying to add armoraddons to the Skinnaked armor, I do not see them appear after selecting new and the appropriate skin. Will update with more info as I progress, assistance is greatly appreciated.
  11. I added the tail with armor addon, however the torso, hands, and feet are invisible now... :/ I think I messed something up.

I'm making a custom race mod for a Daemon/Demon/Devil race, my problem is figuring out how to use the dragon tail in place of a Khajiit/Argonian tail for the custom race as well as adding permanent horns to the race. I understand there is a mod with attacheable tails in HDT, however I don't want the tails to be attacheable/dettacheable pieces of equipment and instead a part of the actual race, like argonians and Khajiit. Any help is appreciated as I've been looking for guides and tutorials for a while and have not found any that cover or assist my endeavors so far.

Making a custom race mod that will have horns, a dragon tail (to simulate a demonic tail as the two are similar), racial power, skill bonuses, custom eyes/eye colours, skin colours, pointed ears, etc. I was heavily inspired by the Tiefling race by dePog and the SR Daemonic Followers mod (Can't remember the creator at this time). Planning on making the females CBBE or UNP based, unsure which, and the males based off SOS or another mod depending on whatever body is easiest, might just make the bodies based off a vanilla counterpart so people can just use whatever bodymod they want and it will affect this race. I am currently making this but I'm having problems with figuring out how to get a dragon tail vice Khajiit/Argonian tail and adding horns to the custom race. I greatly need assistance to make this race possible as I only have experience with cell creation, furnishings, architecture, etc. and race mods are very new to me, especially ones so in depth as this custom one. Anyone have anyway to help or perhaps undertake the mod yourself, I particularly don't care.
  14. I see, I wasn't expecting so many different programs as being needed for a custom creature. Perhaps I should make a more DnD appropriate Gorgon, like the one with legs. That would really only need texture tools since I can take the base model of a vanilla body and retexture it with scales and things... What are some texture tools that I could use? Also something for eyes would be nice.
  15. Good Day, I am interested in modding, I've made several payer home, location, and city mods before but now I want to make a race. The problem is that my interest lies with making a Gorgon Race, one with a slender slithering torso/tail rather than clumsy human legs. The problem is that I don't know what modding resources to use for creating custom meshes, textures, animations, etc...and I'm sure that the tail will need to slide over other objects on the ground so I'm somewhat taken aback at my goal (Not to mention animating the many snake hairs.). However, I turn to the modding community here in order to get an idea of what to do or at least where to start. Any input is appreciated so long as you mean well. Thank you, Knelle
