  1. I don't know what's causing this, but my version froze up a couple of times. I ALT-TAB'ed out and back in, and that fixed it. Maybe that would work for you too?
  2. I don't like the fishing minigame. Mainly because I'm terrible at it. So I installed a mod to skip that minigame and just give me the fish. But that makes things too easy. I don't like the fact that now, my character is suddenly a master fisherman who succeeds every time. So I want somebody to make a mod that allows me to skip the minigame, but not succeed every time. It's good to fail occasionally (just like you do in real life). Maybe the chance that you actually catch the fish goes up as your fishing level goes up? How hard would that be to make?
  3. Bit extreme, that one. I'm sure there was something else...
  4. I like Survival Mode. I like having to make sure I eat, drink, and sleep on time. I can even respect the fact that ammo takes up space (it is a little weird that it doesn't in tie normal game, honestly). There are, however, two major stumbling blocks that keep me from enjoying it. The first is that, with the ultra-modded state my game is usually in, I have to save and quick-save like mad in case it crashes, and Survival doesn't let you do that. I have found a mod to work around that. However, I can't seem to find a mod for the other problem: the insane difficulty spike. I am not a very good Fallout player, and I like a gradual easing in period early on. However, Survival Mode instantly sets the game to the hardest difficulty, and I don't want that. So, why am I putting this here? This is Troubleshooting, not Mod Requests! Well, you see, the thing is, I did see a mod that lets you change difficulty while keeping the other survival options active. But now, I can't find it anymore. That's my "Trouble" I'm "shooting" your way. If anyone knows what mod I'm talking about, please tell me. I really want to get back to surviving.
  5. ^This. I guess what I'm saying is: can we go back to the question posed in the opening post? If the original author of the mod doesn't want to make it happen, can someone else do it in their stead? It seems more productive than just sitting around waiting for something that might never come.
  6. I need a large, indoor, mostly empty space, preferably above ground. I am not running any DLCs. I don't know Fallout 4 that well, so I thought I'd ask if anyone has any ideas. This isn't really a Mod request, as much as a request for directions, but I thought I'd put it here anyway because this seems to be the most popular of the forums. If that's not allowed, please forgive me, Admins.
  7. So, I'm currently doing a playthrough using Fallout Who, and I want there to be some people on my TARDIS with me. However, I'm currently up to four, and it's starting to get a bit crowded. I was wondering if there was anything I could use to make those characters "stand by", meaning I don't have to dismiss them and send them back to their homes, but they also don't follow me out of the god damn TARDIS when I leave. Does anyone know something that might help me?
  8. Is there any mod that changes the appearance of Misty Skye? (from the "The Erotic Adventures of Misty Skye" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/83060 ) I ask, because it seems such an easy idea. The mod itself is funny, and I could have quite a lot of fun with this character. However, I personally don't think she looks all that "hot". Quite the contrary, actually. So I would think there's a mod out there that changes her appearance. But as much as I look, there is none. So I thought, why not ask? I don't really care what she looks like, as long as it's better than what she currently looks like. Maybe like this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/90884?
  9. Here's an easy one: make a follower based on Gruntilda Winkybunion, in her hot form. If anyone doesn't know who she is, this is her: http://evilbabes.wikia.com/wiki/File:Gruntilda_winkybunion_10.png She's the main villain of Banjo Kazooie, though you only get to see this version in the Game Over section. She looks much uglier throughout the actual game.
  10. Everyone is always going on about what they think the best follower is, either because of voice acting, special quests they have, or simply how customizable they are. But I don't want to talk about that right now. What I would like to know is: which follower is in your opinion the absolute strongest? Joke followers are acceptable, but I mean to use this information for an actual playthrough, so try to keep that in mind. Of course, I'm also simply curious, so there's that.
  11. Hi. So here's the deal. Whenever I put this: into my Fallout4Custom.ini, the game won't even start up. Whenever I try, the screen goes black for a few seconds, I get an indication of something loading, and then I'm back to looking at my desktop. When I remove those, the game starts up just fine, but some of my mods don't work right or at all. When I install new mods to replace the aged ones, I get a reminder to invalidate my archive. Which I can't do. Help.
  12. In the Netherlands (where I live) there's a saying: Onkruid vergaat niet (basically, Ill weeds grow apace); when we say it, we mean that bad things (people, objects, etc) don't go away easily. It's usually used in stories (though it doesn't have to); sometimes, we mean it as an insult. "I should have known you weren't dead. Onkruid vergaat niet." Other times, we mean it as a semi-joking reassurance that someone we love to hate is going to survive the bad situation they are in. "Don't worry, he'll be fine. Onkruid vergaat niet, after all." But I can't for the life of me find the English equivalent of this saying. I don't think it actually IS "Ill weeds grow apace", because A: I've never heard that one before I looked it up, and B: it seems to only be related to gardening, from what I can find. I don't even know if there is an English equivalent to this saying. Does anyone know?
  13. Here's a question: What was "the Butcher" actually trying to do? Oh, right. Spoilers. You know, for a six year old game. Okay, now that that's out of the way... "The Butcher". Here's what the Elder Scrolls Wiki says about him. But what was he actually planning to do? I get that he wants to "Reanimate his sister", but how? And was he just crazy, or would that have actually worked?
  14. I saw that video (or at least a little bit of it), that's why I decided it was "above my paygrade". I might do that if I have no other choice, but for now I'm curious if there are any other options.
