Nexus Mods Profile

  1. So I use lighting mods that makes dungeons and tombs dark; as they should be. However, it's rather immersion breaking that I'm apparently the only one who apparently can't see. The bandits and such just bop along in the pitch black like everything's cool. Is there any mod that makes NPCs use torches while in dark caves and such?
  2. It really irks me the way 99.9% of armor modders choose to just slap their armor on the crafting table, usually without even any perks required. This has got to be the lamest possible way of integrating your mod. I don't know about others, but I find it WAY WAY more satisfying to find gear through exploration rather than just crafting it from a few arbitrary matrials. I'm looking for some nice, high-quality armors that are well integrated and feel like they belong in the game. Things that you have to find from certain enemies or in certain places. There's a certain satisfaction in earning things through adventuring instead of just getting them for (nearly) free from the smithy.
  3. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16665/? This mod is very similar to what you are describing. Esentially you extract chemicals directly from ingredients and combine those ingredients into 'cocktails' that buff an entire playstyle. Like a ranger cocktail might buff archery, light armor, sneak, and one handed.
  4. I'm looking for a mod that outright disables all map icons, discovered or undiscovered, showing only the bare map as one would see a map in real life. Collaterally, this would also disable fast travel in the process. Is there any mod like this that anyone knows of?
  5. Conjuration is cheesy to the max on high difficulty settings. I feels like I'm cheating the difficulty when I can have my summoned creatures tank for me taking no additional damage. Would it be possible for a mod that causes summoned creatures to suffer the same penalties that the player does based on difficulty, reduced damage output and increased damage taken?
  6. I'd like to see a mod that removes all racial powers and passives from all races as well as the starting spells. I have found mods that either remove racials OR starting spells, but not both. And they are incompatible with each other since they both edit the player character. Could anyone kindly make a merging of these mods? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20334/ http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32454/
  7. I've been looking for a while now for an overhaul mod or collection of mods that make vanilla Skyrim more challenging and enjoyable. I've tried overhauls like Requiem and Skyre; which are great in their own right, but to me it felt like they were trying to create a whole new gamer rather than enhance the vanilla game. Specifially, what I'm looking for is simply a challenge enhancer that fixes exploits and loopholes and just nerfs the player character accross the board. Things like: -Slower health, stamina, and magicka regen. Both in and out of combat. -Perk trees rebalanced, but not changed. What I mean is to keep the vanilla perks in tact, but simply rebalance them by nerfing the overpowered perks and buffing useless ones. -Nerf the crafting system across the board. Smithing, Alchemy, and Enchanting are all horribly broken and OP. -Fix broken combat mechanics like sneak, bashing, ect.
  8. 15000 says I don't want some creepy lady sharing my house with me. I'd like some peace and quiet in my place, thanks! I'd like to see a simple mod that allows you to tell your housecarl that you no longer require their services, causing them to be relocated to the Jarl's palace in case you ever want to hire them back again.
  9. Tons of graphics-enhancing mods say I don't want to see that ugly pinestraw that Bethesda calls hair. Can you force stlyes from Apachii's hair (or other hair mod) to overwrite a vanilla style? I know there is Spewed's Apachii for NPCs mod, however the mod was designed with vanilla NPCs in mind, so I can't use it in conjunction with mods that use custom NPC scripts.
