Most of the land is already set for Cyrodiil and Morrowind so if Bethesda doesn't do it then modders will give us what we want.

This goes beyond Skyrim, the Empire losing Skyrim divides their lands, cutting all land travel between High Rock and Cyrodiil. The reason the the Stormcloaks would be unable to defeat the Thalmor is that the Thalmor have been rebuilding. Even if Cyrodiil held for a year it would not be enough for them to do it alone. Hammerfell would join the Empire in open war against the Hammerfell, they have the Thalmor at a standstill and it only was kicked out of the Empire to keep peace.

I personally don't like the beginning of the game because anyone in their right mind would kill the people trying to kill them. If it was the other way around and it was the Stormcloaks that captured you there is no evidence to support they would not of done the same thing and from the start you would have a negative opinion of the Stormcloaks. Same with Oblivion and Morrowind you either wake in an Imperial prison of some kind, you are lead from the beginning to not trust the Imperials. The thing I look at though is that they quickly take back why you were detained and don't just kill you when you are freed. I side with the Imperials because they only surrendered to stop the Thalmor from killing basically everyone, sure they are beheading people but these are dark times, civil war and the looming threat of elven steel. Skyrim wouldn't last a year against the Thalmor if they attacked during the war, the faster it is over the shorter it will take to recover. I don't pick a side because I think one is right or wrong I pick a side because whoever wins in the end needs to fight the real enemy of anyone that isn't an Elf; the Thalmor. In the end, like it has already been said, right or wrong is in the eye of the beholder. Rebels being executed or patriots being murdered, you decide how to view it. Both have their flaws but even the hero has his problems. EDIT: Ninja'd Talos worship is only banned because the Thalmor forced it. If they attack then the Imperials have no reason to continue the ban, they need the peace to prepare for more war. The question shouldn't be if the Stormcloaks or Imperials are right it should be are the Aldmeri Dominion or the rest of Tamriel right. The Dominion is already split on multiple fronts by Cyrodiil and if the Empire patched relations with Hammerfell they would have a fighting chance at reuniting the continent

Does anyone know if this great Oblivion mod is being made for Skyrim or if anything like it exists already. It was my favorite Oblivion mod and would love to see it in Skyrim.

azron, the reason the planet isn't completely taken over by the Imperials is because they can't send every single thing with them (the rip in space isn't huge, so smaller sized ships only, they are still fighting a losing war over in their universe, and the time frame they are from is near the end of the Galatic Civil war so they are not as powerful) also if you want to be an Imperial I don't see it as a problem (bad karma though...) But any way I don't think this idea is for this topic so I will see about adding a new topic later so come check it out (done by tomorrow).

The 50 cal doesn't have to penetrate to rip of limbs the forces of the impact alone would do it. Also the wastes would destroy the stormtroopers with radiation Raiders being in large numbers, the super mutants well are super plus being bashed by endless bullets and rockets, the Deathclaws being able to rip the fore arm right off of a BoS knight (The occurance wasn;t entirely a mod my personal army being there though is, Enclave Commander) it cut right through it killed him in one hit plus with all the ghouls in the metros a small patrol would be easilly over run (they wouldn't know what to do with them and well if the patrols just keep going missing with know radio contact (they are underground the waves wouldn't penetrate) And well as for the mutant bears well I keep finding them in groups of 2-3 and they are hard to kill with my six man army as for the E-11 blaster with all the new elements of Earth it wouldn't be as powerful and again it's not like the BoS is alone in the fight they have the player (who is like a God compaired to npc's) and the Rebellion who supplies the guns.

I think it'd be a great mod but maybe add a thing on the dog house to call Dogmeat when he's been gone along time (I sent him to go get me someting, he went didn't come back for an in game week, needed his help several times).

Not really Deathclaws are like mini rancors and stormtroopers are powerless against them.

Stormtroopers are not prepared to fight all the creatures on Earth. Our weapons could still do damage even if they didn't pierce the armour it would snap the neck scince neck support isn't an Empire perk and if like cliamed the armour is strong then it'd be kinda heavy so it wouldn't take much to snap a stormtroopers neck. Also who's to say the Rebellion because of the fact they were driving the Empire out of their galaxy didn't have a overstock of weapons to give to the Brotherhood and people they aproved of. Also if we encorperate a mod that alows certain armour to make a certain faction friendly (I use Armor Disguises by Suijen) then so if you still want a sort of stormtrooper look but without the Brotherhood and Rebels hunting you down use a work bench to create a new version of that armour (Stormtrooper Outcast (or a better sugestion) Armour) that has a new colour marking added (like what the Brotherhood outcasts did with their Armour) just combine base armour with a paint gun and then the helmet with a paint gun and you shall recive your new Rebel and Brotherhood and maybe even Enclave and Empire (as long as you don't have any other gun then their blaster equipped)

Adding to what i said before scince there are aliens in the game the star wars universe coming wouldn't be that far off. Also does any one even read my posts because I get almost no feed back on any of my ideas, is there some sort of thing where if you read my post you get hit with a bat or something?

What I ment was the Enclave basically through a sheer form of luck contact the Empire first and become allies making them a bit more of a hassle and even though the Fallout 3 weapons are considered crap by the Empire and Rebel Alliance they would still work for example the Empire's armour isn't that strong it was more just ment for looks heck if a small hit from a blaster kill a Stormtrooper in one hit a bullet would do some damage, the magnum for example, and for the Rebellion they really didn't have good armour like the power armour. Also it wouldn't be a full scale invasion with vehicles because most of the star wars vehicles would have major problems in the Fallout's wastes they could even have their own caravans (completly seperate factoins so as not to mess with mods that add caravan guards) if you where wearing stormtrooper or enclave armour the Empire/ Enclave wouldn't attack (not saying you couldn't attack them) and would sell you things and same concept for the Rebellion and Brotherhood's caravans the only thing that would be missing is the chance to see an Empire or Rebel ship fly over head (way up in the sky kinda like how the moon looks, in daytime they wouldn't be bright and easy to see but at night they have blinking lights and such and the only reason both sides arn't using the ships on the planet is because they want it to be still intact (they might think this is how we've always been scince they haven't been to Earth before). All that is basically a star wars mod I'd like to see. And azon a reply to your post the jedi appeared to have superhuman skills because of the force (force speed, strength ect.), Wow didn't know I was replying to two of your posts at the same time.

If we are simply merging a light saber into Fallout 3 it would be heavy (it'd be like in Episodes 4-6) because of lack of good light weight parts and such. Also thank you chuckskyline for the examples of people who DID use light sabers while not being jedi so there is no question if a normal person could use it.

light sabers can be used by ordinary people just with alot of practice and time. Having force abilities can only enhance the basic concept of the training which is like sword training and it doesn't matter the weight of the handle the entire concept of light sabers are an advanced sword.

The lightsaber could still work for average people, as long as they knew how to use a sword really REALLY well so they don't kill them selves, and a total conversion would be nice but imagine a mod that after the story line is completed the Empire lands on Earth and starts a quest for domination on our world. The Rebel Alliance steps in to help us, the people of Earth, the Enclave could side with the Empire and The Brotherhood with the Rebel Alliance it would be glorious new Rebel Alliance quests and random encounters.

This is freaking' sweet Star wars is my favorite having storm, original clone, Darth Vader's clone (before storm troopers), sith normal and commando (from KOTOR) trooper armor D. Vader with the breathing sounds (impossible to sneak but amazing armor) jedi/ sith robes and a customizable saber (use workbench to change colour) would be amazing.

I have a few ideas for locations of this weapon, in the white house, if used by the secret service then why wouldn't some ammo and at least one gun survive, an ammo factory that was badly damaged by blast,whose workers were turned to ghouls and the place is being raided by mercs (a good spot for easter egg as they could resemble left 4 dead characters, names and all) the ammo factory would have more ammo but is scattered and or limited (30-40 shells at max, it IS the factory so it should have a decent amount) and was used by the mercs (mercs are friendly towards character so them having some of those guns doesn't hurt unless your a jerk and decide to kill on your friends (could also lead to new companions), when talked to by the player they talk about the job at the next suggested place, the weapon factory and how they took what they could after killing ghoul workers), a factory that makes this weapon (but since your pals cleaned it, one or two badly damaged guns, some shells in main office and in factory weapon testing area for testing/display purposes but they weren't inactive display models), random shops and traders have a few on them to keep you using it, other government areas where they would logically be (i haven't explored all over yet (my new pc crashed but lucky for me its still under warranty and i didn't sell my old one yet (it even has problems) so i am not 100% sure on those locations, and also in Megaton and Wheaton Armory ammo would be excellent places for a gun or two and some ammo even if locked up.
