This is the first I've heard about it?

These are the news I found about the redesing of the site... It's been a while and have been announced in every step.

I missed all of those, I was busy doing clinicals at a hospital all that time

pedantic wrote: Nothing to do with being timid, weak, or an under achiever. Neither is it how it "looks" that's important to me (The same can be said for a good game). It's how it functions for everyone which should be a sites' primary concern. Fix what's broken by all means, adopt new technology by all means. But it seems to me, in this day and age, that actions are taken simply because they can be taken and for no other practical reason. So, instead of fixing what's broken a little at a time, we're plunged into months of constant change while the little necessary changes are incorporated into a premature overhaul to make the Nexus look like every other site. I love the Nexus because it isn't like every other site. The new "random" mod idea smacks of PSN and the rest looks just like, as others have said, (ugh..) Bethesda. The download shortcut might cause issues, too, for mod makers. It's a great idea but poorly thought through imho. However, if the shortcut were to take folk to the mod description page, similar to the current preview, then maybe the install instructions, requirements, and README.TXT (which so many don't) would be adhered to more often, leaving our brilliant mod makers to do what they do best. I can see the benefit of the shortcut if, for whatever reason, I'm re-downloading a mod. Hey, there's an idea: The shortcut only goes live if you've previously downloaded said mod - the same way you're not able to endorse a mod prior to download. Me? I love change but not simply for the sake of it.

So how's Windows 10 treating you?

EDIT: Oh and Nexus, please fix your emoticons. I mean... who wrote the parsing algorithm that thinks my capital D was meant to be a smiley face?
    endgameaddiction wrote: @sevencardz

It's the reason why I don't use emoticons. And I disable it. But really that's not the solution if you like using emoticons and not having your brackets translated into a smiley face when using it outside of the context of a emoticon.

That would be assuming the wheel was flawed and square from the get go which it wasn't. The wheel was round, the perfect shape for mobility and thus there would be no need to reinvent it, just add on to it and improve it, like giving it a sturdy layer. Not toss it out the window and replace it with a recolored copy of some other guy's crusty wheel that has fancy bells and whistles tied to it.

Its not reinventing the wheel its innovating the wheel. If everyone went in with "if it aint broke dont fix it" We'd be flintstoning everywhere
  2. I just saw this this morning and was blown away! I have been looking for a mod like this ever since I got the game. So I just downloaded this Mod (Alpha?) and I was wondering if any of the armor mods you guys have been making are available. They look good and I really want to use them. I wish you guys the best of luck!

  3. I am aware of that, and sorry It took me so long to reply, school has been crazy! But it would definitely be nice if someone did this, and I am a very patient and im willing to wait for something this amazing.

  4. I have never seen a mod where you can actually build a flipping civilization. I just want a mod like the Fallout New Vegas RTS where you build a town and wage war with other faction. I would like a diplomacy system, a trade system, and you would recruit an army to wage war. I have played the skyrim Real Time Settler and in my opinion it was pathetic compared to the FNV one. I have also played Tundra defense before anyone ask, and it was good, just not what I was looking for. I was thinking that you could have meetings with the other factions like with the quest "Season Unending". Which could go good or badly depending on the way you and the other leader acts. Maybe you could have allies to help in actual battles on "Battle Grounds" I understand this would be pretty complicated and i hope there is a good modder that can pull this off. Thank You!

  5. Congrats on the new miracle, but I was thinking that with the altar place where you shout at it if that's not out of the question, for the more daedric people you could perhaps enhance it with a Daedra heart and you can pick which Daedric prince you would worship. Then that daedric prince could infuse the sword with a taste of their realm of oblivion, the extra abilities would be different depending on THe daedric prince, Just an idea for the more evil characters
  6. Perhaps for a few types of employers you could sabatoge their enchantment to do the opposite of what they want. You would still get paid but they might hire someone to "take care of you" just an idea but it would fit those evil devious characters
  7. I recently was playing infinity blade and noticed that when you killed someone with the infinity blade it looked like they just got blasted with Dragonrend! I then got an infinity blade mod and was disappointed to find it didnt have the same visual effects. An enchantment would be cool but really i just want the visual of when you hit someone it looks like they got dragonrended. Thank you!

  8. If any of you have played Infinity Blade one or two, you have thought "Man, I wish i could live in that boss tower" Once I found an infinity blade mod and the God King's armor i knew i had to have a tower like that. I then went on the Nexus with 20 minutes of searching i knew i had to come here. I just want a Tower that resembles the God King's in some way and a few guardians throughout the tower. I hope this will get noticed by a decent modder that can well... mod decently.
