I've been battling this problem for hours on end now and I'm completely stuck where you are. The .mtf format seems to be corrupted after editing the patch file. I can't restore it! I've tried going through regedit to restore all file associations, I've tried doing a system restore, I've gone through all the steps recommended by windows. Nothing works! My mods just aren't showing up, even when reinstalling the game multiple times. The package.mtf for mods just doesn't carry the information, I've opened it with wordpad and notes, and when opening the patch pack and the mod pack the same text appears in the viewer; "Name patch Authoritative Version 9 ModManager v0.52 alpha" Whenever I try to delete the association, the file still binds to wordpad when opening it, even after deleting my explorer.exe in current processes. I can't change it through properties either. The game starts, and runs, but without mods I just don't find it worth playing again.
