  1. Well, I fixed my issue. Now I'm getting random crashes to desktop with no error. WTF
  2. After updating to 1.10 I expected my two mods (no level requirments and relic weapons redone) to not work anymore. However, it seems to have disabled at least one of my DLC's. Specifically the Wolf School gear DLC. I thought this might have happened due to removing my mods, but now the way the DLC is on the GOG launcher, I cant activate it. HELP?!
  3. Thanks for tips. I was able to save all the 4 important dead merchants in whiterun with the console command.
  4. They've killed blacksmiths in THREE TOWNS now! aghhh! Is there any way to get them back? I will cheat to get some people back if I have to, or does someone step up and run shops after a while?
  5. Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure why it would be a problem, as I have a fairly boss rig. :( Could I just unpack the smaller texture package over the large one without issues?
  6. wow bud. we have the same rig, and the same problem. If you find a fix, let me know. I'm not using some of the mods you are, so I don't know
  7. Alright, I don't have the ulitmate version, I do have the game, and ALL dlc's though. I keep having really frustrating problems that are making me not want to play anymore. I don't have very many mods, and I did my research to make sure they were compatible. Even made a merged patch. However, my game freezes A LOT. I know FNV is know for freezing, but this is beyond the normal amount. It mostly freezes when going in and out of place. Also, sometimes coming out of a building, certain things are graphically messed up, like some plants are just all black. I have to turn the game off and start it back up to fix it, can't even just reload a save. NOW, my biggest problem, is it won't load the game at all. Every time I load the game up and hit continue, it just sits there loading forever, and when I start task manager it shows it's not responding. Any tips to try, or things i should do to try to fix these problems as best as I can. I'm dying to play this thru again. If it helps, I have and i-5 3570k CPU, and my GPU is a GTX 670: not oced. 8gb ram. So, I'm sure it's not my system. Also, using the Large NMC'S texture replacer, which i think might be the culprit. Also running SKVE, and 4gb fallout. Any tips on fixing this, pleeease?
  8. I recently downloaded a mod called "A More Beautiful Skyrim Experience" which modified a lengthy list of NPC's. I didn't like it that much, so I removed it. However, all the NPC's that it modified.... are now BALD! All my fav sexy ladies HAVE NO HAIR!!! OMG! lol. Anyways... How do I fix this and give them back their original hair? Thank you for any help.
  9. I'm looking for the best high res textures. I wish FNV had something like skyrim's HD patch. Anyways, what do you all use to make the game look better? I've been looking around, but there's not much in the way of complete overhauls. Any reccomendations?
  10. Guy your attitude sucks. If you got infected by some unknown .exe and than start to make fun out of other people with the same problem you should just be very very quiet. LOL! I got infected with it because I'm new to modding. I thought the trojan that was labeled Nexus.exe was something I needed for what I was downloading. If you read my post, it's VERY easy to get rid of, AND i just told everyone the BEST anti virus program. As we say in IT: Reformatting just means you don't know how to fix it, or you're too lazy. I've NEVER reformatted any drives. I'm more than tech savvy, and run a small business fixing computers. I'd suggest anyone that needs help, drop me a pm with your problem. If you get infected with this Nexus trojan, read my previous instructions. If you don't understand them, don't hesitate to contact me, and I'll point you in the right direction.
  11. Thank you all. These replies are helpful and help me to accomplish what I hope to acheive.
  12. Hello fellow adventurers! I had a couple of (probably noob) questions, if anyone would like to answer for me, please. Is there a way I can set my skills in game to whatever level I want, and unlock the skill tree? For instance, set my Alchemy to 100, and be able to choose all the perks? Also, Is there a way I can modify Item's stats? Like, Chang the amount of protection a piece of armor provides? If there is no console command for this, is there something like an item editor, or mod? Thank you!
  13. HAha, it sounds like you have one of those fake anti-viruses.
  14. OMG LOL @ OP!! You reformatted!?!?!? ROOOOFL. I downloaded this same trojan from this site yesterday. I'm going to tell you how to fix it, if anyone else comes across it. Hopefully they won't be like the OP and REFORMAT! LMAO! Ok... Once the screen pops up blocking any further action, turn off the computer. Unplug it from the internet, or turn your router off. Boot the computer back up, and you'll notice the screen doesn't pop back up. At this point, you should run the scan for whatever virus protection you have. I personally use Malwarebytes, it IS the best. It caught it for me in no time, and got rid of it. If your anti-virus doesn't fix this trojan, try to get on a different PC and download Malwarebytes, along with the update and upload it to your PC via flashdrive, install, then scan with it. It comes with a 2 week trial, but costs just 15 dollars ONCE afterwards, and is totally worth it. P.S. To folks like the OP: Reformatting just means you suck with computers and don't know how to fix anything. Get a hold of me if you have a problem, I can save you losing your data, or paying a tech $100 or more. Cheers!
